Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort

Access to the private beach front and the resort facilities was exceptional. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. would definitely come back with my family to share the wonderful experience.

Location wise, there wasn’t much to do in walking distance outside of the resort.

The room was amazing, deluxe king room with sea view. Fantastic views of the sunset and amazing bath and shower. Loved the free shuttles to small market and duong dong daily and there is a buggy takes you to the local shop and restaurant , walking distance but helpful if carrying essentials that are cheaper than the hotel. The pool and beach areas are fabulous and the breakfast has lots of choices and amazing food . Definitely be back.

Air con not working correctly 1st night but fixed at once when told the staff

After travelling around Vietnam we thought we’d treat ourselves to a stay at the Pullman and we were not disappointed! The hotel is exceptional. The swimming pool is amazing and the staff couldn’t be more polite and helpful. It’s quite far to the main town but the hotel put on a shuttle every evening which we used for each night of our stay. The food in the hotel is a bit pricey so it was better to eat out. Breakfast was incredible - it really was the best breakfast we have ever had! You are spoilt for choice! Would definitely recommend this hotel - it’s worth every penny.

There’s nothing near by but the free shuttle means it is easy to access the town. You could get a taxi too if needed.

Great stay at Pullman Phu Quoc in an amazing room (cabana with pool). Everything at the hotel was designed for confort and beauty. Thé staff was extremly kind and gentle. The breakfast is very good with a lot of choices.

Warning if you book a room with 2 kids (mine are 12 and 10) the termes of the hotel there are : sharing thé same bed !!! We had to ask an extra bed for the kids, even the bed is 2m large, we can’t stand at 4 in this bed. Book an extra bed while booking.

Besides the location that is a bit remote, everything is amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the facilities are great and the pool is awesome. The beach is relaxing and it is nice that you can SUP and kayak whenever you want (if they're available of course).

The only thing we didn't like as much was the remote location. But if you want to relax on a resort, this is perfect. Every day they have a shuttle that brings you to the city centre, but we just rented a motorbike (about 20min to city centre).

Their staff is excellent, including the manager. Friendly, polite and helpful but also caring. My mom was sick, but we didn’t want disturb them, so we asked for some small things for her. End up that they sent their private doctor (Dr Cong I think) to check for mom voluntarily which I never expected. Thank you Pullman. I’m grateful of your help. About their facility, almost everything is excellent. We love the toilet which is warm up when we sit, love the shower, the huge mirrors, the huge bed and comfy pillow. It’s a pity that I haven’t had time to try their swimming pool but it looks cool as well. The rooms were cleaned twice per day, and we had lots of shampoo and shower gels and towels as they were piled up :)))))) Ah the ocean view is amazing. We were at nearly top floor, where nothing covers the horizontal, so the scenery was perfect.

The bath is a bit disaster as water was everywhere after my bath. Btw, you always can call for someone to clean after you by pressing the green button “please clean” which is quite handy. Location is a bit inconvenient as this hotel is quite far from town. For lunch, you can have food in hotel or go to town by cab. However, they have free bus to go to town every day at 6pm and come back at 9pm (sharp!). The bus will drop you somewhere on Tran Hung Dao street, with lots of restaurants around and two big stores of souvenirs so you won’t be empty-handed when going home ;))

Nice location at a quite place. Good live music. Great Madcow restaurant experience.

Beach facilities are a bit simple. Not enough soft mattresses for sun bed. Lifeguard stand just a table. Paddle for standup boards are just kayak paddle. The new year countdown BBQ was basically ok. Atmosphere at beach was nearly perfect. However we missed an more elegant way of celebration. No opening welcome speech. The buffet was not only stormed but almost boarded. The additional drink package was just beer can’s. The price-performance ratio was absolutely not ok. Cloud have been prepared much more like an unforgettable event.

The staff at the Pullman were phenomenal from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The biggest and most helpful part was that the reception understood and spoke English very well, which was a huge relief for a person like me who is still in the beginning stages of learning Vietnamese (it also gave my Google translate app a well needed rest). The pool - enormous and clean, with plenty of poolside benches, a towel exchange area, and a great looking bar in the middle that I unfortunately didn't utilize. The beach area - white, sandy beach with a volleyball court area, a basketball hoop (although shoddy looking, still a nice touch), and plenty of reclining seats near the waterfront with umbrellas to maximize the relaxation. They seem to offer some jetski rentals along with a very alluring banana boat ride, but our schedule didn't allow us to experience either. There's also a bar in the restaurant near the beach, so you can keep the buzz going if you so desire. The Spa - My wife got a massage, which she enjoyed very much. Although the prices are high for Vietnam standards, considering it's a 5 star resort, it was pretty easy to pony up the cash. Mad Cow restaurant - Although the name doesn't do much to stir up the appetite, the food was pretty great! We also enjoyed the live music provided by a friendly Filipino gentleman, and the view from the 9th (?) floor was great. Again, a tad pricey, but definitely affordable. A quick shout out to Mr. Sang and Ms. Mai Anh who took time out of their day to escort us around the grounds, as we were viewing the grounds searching for a suitable venue for our upcoming wedding. Mr. Sang and Ms. Mai Anh were both professional, well informed, friendly, and spoke great English.

Very nitpicky, but I wasn't thrilled about the bath area in the room - to me, the bathtub was in a weird location (in middle of the bathroom and the bedroom area) and the toilet reminded me of a (fancy) public bathroom because of the stall setup.

Beautiful grounds. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. Staff was great. Dat from help desk and Durong from concierge desk was very helpful and accommodating. Made out stay easier and more enjoying

If I had to be very picky. The rooms that we occupied had a little bit of a musty smell. I do understand that the humidity level is very high in Phu Quoc and that doesn’t help.

The room is modern very spacious with nice decoration and high standard furniture. We have 02 kids at 13 and 4 who are allowed to stay free without additional charge, and we find the 45m2 room is still good enough for 4 of us to enjoy the stay. All rooms have large balcony facing to the beach, providing a great view. The pool is also big and nice.

As the resort is located a bit far from the center, we stayed inside most of the time. It will be better if there are more dining choices . There are 01 steak house and 01 international restaurant offering both Asian and Western dishes. However, the restaurant was closed after lunch during my stay and they offered night food market instead for 3 nights (30/4 - 2/5) with exact dishes and very limited choices.
