The staff was very friendly. The food and breakfast were amazing, we loved the restaurant in front of the beach and the swimming pool was clean

The first day we arrived, the air conditioner was broken but the staff was very nice and changed us the room very quickly

This was a perfect spot for us with 2 young kids. Even though it is in the busy beach area, it doesn't feel like it within the resort at all. So that also means you're close to other restaurants and stores. The pool area was great, and had 2 shallow sections for our young daughter. The garden bungalows were lovely. The staff were very friendly. The raised restaurant platform overlooking the sea was very lovely. Overall it feels like a very well loved resort. Nothing is flashy or overly luxurious but it's a great spot if you don't mind that! I think some of the beach front bungalows look as if they'd recently been refurbished.

The food at the restaurant wasn't great for us but that might be because we have dietary preferences being vegan.

Lovely place. First we booked 4 days, the next day we booked 7 more. Amazing pool and bungalow area with Nice garden and palmtrees. A few steps to the beach. So Nice to be able to wake up right next to a clean and beautiful beach. We visited other beaches on the Island, and the area around orange resort was the best and cleanest. ( what we saw ) The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged day trips and everything you Need. We rented motorbikes here also at good price. People at the reception was very friendly and professional, but you have to give the lovely poolguy and cleaning ladies a big thank you also. See you next year!

Everything was good here. But if you come to this place for the fitness center and are used to lifting wieghts, I have to tell you this. The "gym" have a treadmill and a not so well working "all around machine". But thats not a huge problem for a guy like me Who likes benchpress and dumbbells. There is a gym 5 min walk from the resort that have everything you need. The price for working out is 100k.

Such welcoming staff led by Mandy at reception and Mr Tea in the bar-restaurant, who sorted any minor problem immediately and cheerfully. Although breakfast plentiful, choice a bit limited and coffee dreadful. Highlands coffee shop locally and many local restaurants and massages offered great value with good service too. Literally bungalow is right on the beach and well maintained in simple style.

We had room 20, and that was right on the beach and next to the beach bar. How could that NOT be a win?? The staff were so helpful and the bar staff at night were a lot of fun. Little 'Y', the young girl working breakfast is such a beautiful sole and a great ambassador for Orange Resort. All the staff were amazing. From checkin to grounds staff. So happy and helpful. I suffered a reaction to food in my ankle, and walking was very painful, and everyone showed some concern.

The shower in our room was an over bath shower with no shower screen or curtain, so water tended to go everywhere. Everything else, for us, was great.

I loved the location. there are many shops or restaurants on the main road, you can reach to many thing with 3mins walking. there are spa kind shop provide shampoo&dry (approx 5USD) or massage, laundry machine (150k/1kg) run by motorcycle rental shop, some convenience store, local and various kind of food restaurant, beach club…. the noise of the club ends 1pm, it’s really bad for some people. we found it’s fun( maybe because we are deep sleepers, though). as other review say the property is getting old and need some maintenance, but it’s not disappointing that much. we wanted to have beachfront room with 2 beds and not too expensive, so this property was perfect for us. loved our stay and felt comfortable. only some of their staff speak English but they all are very helpful. water pressure for the shower is weak.

on the road between main road and the hotel gate, there are several free-range dogs and bark to you. it’s not hotel’s fault though. less variety of food choice both at breakfast and lunch/dinner. we wanted to have pizza because it’s on their menu but was not ready during our stay.

Highly recommend a beach front room, it was spacious, comfortable and looked like it had been upgraded not long ago. You are right on the beach front with deck chairs out front and also on the beach. I was there on a weekend but it was very peaceful with none of the party noise other reviews complained about also had no issues with dogs when walking back at night. The restaurant food was fresh and delicious with great cocktails even though it seemed pretty quiet. Views were incredible! Staff were lovely and breakfast options plentiful. Lots of restaurants and massage places nearby, and definitely worth taking the half hour walk into main town to explore the waterfront and night market.

The pool was beautiful but water really warm if you swam in the afternoon. Morning was better though. Don't expect chrystal clear waters, the whole stretch of beach had murky water. Not in the hotels control of course and the staff cleaned the beach of rubbish each morning.

Our bungalow was facing the beach. We had a balcony with a table & two chairs. Lovely to sit there every morning & watch the ocean. We liked that there was a bar/restaurant on the premises. That was very convenient. Breakfast was included and it had a variety of Western food & Asian food. We were able to enjoy the pool which was not too cold. There were activities on the beach such as parasailing and jet skiing. We were also able to rent a motor scooter from the resort and go to the night market which wasn't too far. We really enjoyed staying at this resort and wound up extending our stay by four days.

From the moment we arrived at Orange Resort it felt like home. The staff at the resort are so friendly, I can’t believe we got such a good place to stay so cheap. We stayed in December 2022 for 8 nights in a beachfront deluxe apartment. The room was close to the beach, impossible to get closer. The location is perfect, so close to variety of restaurants and bars, street food, laundry, shopping, spas and rooms right on the beach. The staff were the friendliest I have ever experienced at a hotel or resort. The beach had the best sunsets, and the resort bar has cheap cocktails and food was good. Special thanks to Ngoc the pool guy, who managed the pool and provided towels. Thanh, Tea and Hang who worked at the bar/restaurant were all amazing, they even gave us hugs when we left! And the maintenance guy who cleaned up and fixed pool lounges, he was great. Even gave us fresh bananas he grew from his tree - how nice is that!? Orange Resort is rated as 3 star but I think it deserves more than that. I’ve stayed in 4 and 5 star places that didn’t have what this place had. Yes, it’s a little older and needs some maintenance around the place but if you tell the staff they fix things straight away. A few reviews have said the beach was dirty, I don’t agree. We thought it was clean and great for swimming, cleaner than most beaches in Bali or Thailand or Malaysia. It’s not super clear, but still clean. In fact, we were told the best beach on Phu Quoc is Sao Beach on the other side of the island, we went there and I thought it was disgusting. Might depend on the weather and time of year, who knows! Some previous reviews complained about the breakfast spread, but again I disagree. We thought it was the best, so many options and 5 stars to the woman who makes fresh soup, omelettes, eggs and pancakes all at the same time, she was amazing. I would also highly recommend Rose Lele massage in the road the resort is on.

As mentioned, there is a little maintenance to be done but they’re working on it. Our bed was a bit hard for our liking and I mentioned it on checkout and the staff said we should’ve told them and they would’ve given me a new one! I believe that too, so I should’ve said something earlier. Lots of positives for this place, very few negatives
