Gaia Hotel PhuQuoc

Very close to town Center. Good breakfast provided

We stays at 8th floor, yet we had a massive cockroach in our room. The aircon didn’t manage to cool off the room. It was way too warm.

Good sized rooms with a sitting area by the window where we could relax and enjoy our tea in the evening. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was decent and many places around for food and buying the necessary. About 17min walk to the night market. About 15-20min drive to the airport. Public beach was 3min walk across the street.

Nothing to complain.

The room was lovely with a balcony and they decorated it nicely for our 25th wedding anniversary.

The pool was very small and exposed to the main road with taxi drivers waiting on fares all day. The staff didn't speak much English which was a challenge however were friendly. We stayed 3 nights and the first 2 breakfasts were limited as no information provided other than observing what one other table was having. The last day, there were more guests and a full display of breakfast. Quite disappointing (even though we understand they don't want to overcook food, a menu would have helped). No hot water for first 2 days, then only late on the last day.The beach is close by, however, you get the impression that it's private use only.

Staff was AMAZAING! Nice and very helpful!! The staff did the all money ❤️. Location is quite good, there is a nice beach opposite of the hotel you should visit it during the sunset, there is no freaking dance/bar music but a romantic, classic hits. The breakfast buffet is interesting too, you can rent motorbikes from the hotel too. Top of top: their is a big weight (max 100kg) so you can check your baggages.

Some kind of line to hang a bathing suits would be nice.

Room, clean, 2 relax chairs + coffee-table, good view of main street and sea, not too noisy, safe, writing-desk with chair, good airco, nice TV with English spoken programs, kettle + tea and coffee bags, fridge, drinking water, Nice spacious bathroom. Staff at the reception very helpful, specially little powerhouse Yen. Breakfast excellent fresh fried eggs, Vietnamese & Western food, fresh fruit, coffee and juices. Amen.

Little place to store unused cloth.

The hotel is really nice, really close to the sea and to the city centre. The room was spacious, clean and bright. The bathroom was big with a big shower. Buffet breakfast was great! Wide choice of foods and possibility to cook the eggs on the spot in three different ways. Possibility to rent a motorbike and book tours around the island. They can provide you with towels for the beach.

Nothing major but it was a bit hard to communicate with the staff, not all of them could speak English.

The Gaia Hotel comes with my honest recommendation the only issue would be that if you were a light sleeper and had a sea view then you might find it a bit noisy as the road outside can get quite busy at times.The hotel does have other rooms so they might be worth consideration.However if you enjoy views of the sea on waking and some stunning sunsets later it's worth the slight inconvience.The hotel staff were all lovely & helpful.The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and a good size.The Breakfast was of a good standard.The hotel is well situated close to all amenities and only a 15/20 minute walk to the Night Market.So overall I was very content with my stay.

Other than the noise the only negativity is crossing the road in front of the hotel at busy times.If you are familiar with Asia then that's ok but if it's your first time please be very careful as nobody will stop for you ever!

Hotel was comfortable. Room was decent. Good hot water comfortable bed. Nice view from balcony. Buffet breakfast was basic but good. Location was central. Motorbike rental easy and cheap. Close to beach. Fridge stays on even when you remove the electiricty card / key.

Fridge wasn't very cold on the first day but eventually got cold enough for drinks. No freezer for ice though. The building appears to be slowly sinking as cracks in all the walls and none of the doors close properly without having to be forced. Safety issues: don't leave children unattended in the corridors as there's unlocked glass doors which lead to outside balcony gardens with no safety barrier so a small child could very easily fall from a great height.

Everything was amazing, from the staff to the rooms and the breakfast was also delicious. The rooms were huge, with super comfortable beds, a bathtub and good Lightning. Even has a cozy little seating area. Highly recommend! Great location by the bus station, and walking distance to centre as well!

The pool is quite small and by the street, but it is very cozy to sit there during the evening. You will go to the beach instead.

The location was perfect for me: To Long-Beach just cross the street and you reach the Beach in a 3-minute-walk. Only about 15–20 minutes walk to the night market and city center Duong Dong. The sea view from my deluxe balcony room on the 8th floor was impressive. The room equipment was very good value for money. Towards the end of my 5 day stay I had an accident with a rented motorbike. The friendly and very helpful hotel staff gave me the very best help in this emergency situation. Thank you so much for this support.
