An Bang Beach Dolphin Homestay

Short walk to the beach. Many restaurants nearby. Fresh market every morning outside the homestay. Very good breakfast (delicious omelettes) with fresh fruit, smoothies and coffee or tea. They had other items to choose from on the menu as well. Zui and Tuyet were friendly and helpful with questions and bookings. We could not get the TV remote to work and they actually replaced the TV 👍🏻😃.

Bed was on the firm side.

Very kind and friendly host family. Helpful and gave good recommendations regarding local restaurants and tailor shops. The rooms are big and clean. We had a small terrace, which was nice to stay on in the early morning and late night, to look at the local community. The home stay is located 5 min from the beach. Right next door is a small marked, with very good prices. Across the street there is a local food market every morning. We will definitely stay here again if we come to Hoi An.

The only thing we were “unhappy” about , was that there were no tools to clean up the shower water with. Though we didn’t ask about it. And we can see the next place we came that it is the same issue.

I was a solo traveler and I booked my room the night prior to arrival in Danang, Vietnam from Taipei, Taiwan. The staff were immediately responsive with my booking, setting up transportation from the airport directly to the homestay, which I was very happy to accept. The building was lovely and the room was perfect - spacious, armoire with full size mirror to put my things, AC, TV and fridge. The location couldn't have been better - close to everything and walking out the front door you are steps away from the morning market. They had bikes and scooters available to use. They even assisted me with setting up transportation (sleeper bus which picked me up right near the homestay) to my next stop, Hue. Highly recommend. The family and staff were great! When I return to An Bang, I will stay there again!

I have no complaints.

Staff are so friendly and happy to help you with whatever you need. They’re a real bonus to the stay. There was also free small bottles of water daily and a kettle in the room. The room itself had a great aircon and the bathroom looked like it had been refitted recently with a handheld and overhead shower. They also provided beach towels at no extra cost. Area is quiet and safe so it was easy to sleep at night and we had no issues with late night walks. Reasonable amenities nearby with a pharmacy across the road and a few minimarts in the area.

No close ATMs. The shower water sometimes turned boiling hot so you had to jump out mid shower. This was mostly just inconvenient but it was hard to enjoy a shower. WIFI was occasionally patchy. Fine for us but might be an issue if you need to work

The rooms were very large, very clean and the bathroom is lovely! Very very large bed which was so nice and we were given extra pillows on request. The team are SO nice and welcoming. Everything was explained when we arrived and the value for money is incredible. The pancakes in the morning were also fabulous and the bread was freshly bought each day from the market. Not even 10 minutes to the beach although December isn't really a good month to see it at its best! Plenty of little restaurants and spa facilities within easy walking distance and only 12-15 minute drive into the town centre (cost 100,000 VND which is about £3.50). Can't fault anything. They even offered me soup when I was recovering from a stomach bug. So lovely! Would definitely recommend.

The room was fairly sized with a small balcony that faced out onto other buildings. The washroom was clean and roomy. The wifi signal was strong. The host and her family were very generous and quick to respond to all questions and requests. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet getaway minutes from the beach.

The scooter rentals arranged by the hotel was with a local shop. The scooter's maintenance left a lot to be desired. The horn sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. The fuel gauge was broken. I would suggest for this hotel to look at another company for scooter rentals.

This homestay was located in a good area and despite the market early every morning it was very quiet at night. The family was so happy, friendly, amazing and hospitable. They did so many things for us from arranging drivers, loaning umbrellas, suggesting great massage right around the corner, to lovely breakfasts every morning. They were accommodating when we asked for extra pillows in our room. They spoke English and were able to communicate well about the local area, food, etc.

The room was very simply furnished and there was not a desk or work station, which was a little difficult as we still needed to do a little work while on our vacation.

Breakfast can be ordered from the menu the night before. It is versatile enough for our 5 night stay. Good location if you want to spend time on the beach. Close to restaurants, shops and the morning market. With a taxi or the hotel's bicycle/scooter, you can go to the old town of Hoi An conveniently. ( 4 km ) The staff are really friendly and always willing to help you with everything !

What a lovely place to stay. This place is so welcoming, we were treated like family. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable and we had a choice of delicious breakfast every morning. Very close to the beach, just 3 minutes walk and lots of nice places to eat nearby too. A short taxi ride or a 1 hour walk takes you right into hoi an old town, but it's definitely much more relaxing to sleep here by the sea. The highlight of the stay is Zui and her family. We were made so welcome and treated like family. We will definitely come back here again

fantastic location close to the beach, near the market with a little shop next door. lovely family, so welcoming and warm. friendly and helpful. lovely pool where our son spent hours and hours, big clean, comfortable rooms, big beds and comfy pillows. delicious breakfast. Kimtuyet also arranged two excellent tours for us - Mr Cu’s cookery course and basket boat, and Tiger Fish snorkelling at the Cham Islands - as well as airport pickup and drop off.
