Breakfast was lovely. Location was perfect, quiet spot but very close to all the action of Hoan Kiem. The staff was also extremely helpful - they had suggestions for restaurants, tours, and sites at the ready but weren't pushy with it. The staff is definitely the biggest strength of the hotel.

Room was okay, didn't blow me away so that's why I didn't score it perfectly. To be honest was a little surprised after arriving that it had been so highly rated on booking.com. When I went to check out they gave me a questionnaire and then asked me to not fill out any online reviews when they saw I only gave a score of 8, specifically because "they work hard to keep their ratings high". I believe they do, but just be aware that the score you see on booking.com is probably inflated.

Very central location, yet quiet enough for a good nights sleep. Early checkin was not possible, but they even let us take a shower in the staff room, we were able to store our bags etc. We even got upgraded to a huge family room. Room was clean, the bathroom smelled like mould but we’ve had that in every hotel in Vietnam due to the humidity.

All the communal areas like hallways, elevator, breakfast area have a certain smell to it (kind of like urine). We have read this in another review and though it was nonsense, but they are trying to influence your review von booking.com. On the day of our checkout we were asked for a feedback on paper. We mentioned the aspects above and gave them a ranking of 8 points. Later we were asked by the staff to still give them 10 points on booking. We know competition is big in Hanoi, but this is a no go and we always rely on reviews, so we want ours to be trustworthy, too.

I understand these hôtels are struggling from the post covid but I was asked to fill a survey in front of the people at the desk. And then asked to give a grade 10 that was matching my answers. Sure the place is nice but: 1.Never to ask a customer to fill a survey on the spot and in front of the staff. 2.The questions were limited. I'm sorry they are going through tough time as possibly all hotels in Vietnam but I feel a bit annoyed from that. I feel it removes the possibility of giving any nuanced feedback and keep the hotels obsessed by the maximum grade.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and it is perfectly located on a quiet lane right in the heart of the old quarter! The room was spacious with a large balcony, the bathroom was very clean and the water had great pressure. But the highlight of our stay was by far the staff - they are so friendly and super helpful. We had pre-booked a lot of our tours and activities, but turns out the staff at the hotel can do all of that for you and can usually get it cheaper. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Some of the fittings in the room look like they are due for an upgrade e.g. some power sockets, one light was flickering. But these are minor and cosmetic

Location is fabulous - off a busy street so it’s quiet at night, but the street it’s on is hugely interesting in the morning and evening. Unfortunately the fruit & vege sellers along it think “tourist” and “overcharge”, so be aware the prices they quote are quite ridiculous. Bargain bargain - we’re not so good at that. Not our modus operandi. We were in a Junior suite with balcony, and that was really wonderful. Lots of space to move (stayed six nights so this was important), plus an extra bed which was useful as partner not very well so able to move about without disturbing each other. There during a massive heatwave so balcony not used much, but we loved to lean over and watch the folk below in the morning. I did water the plants though, poor things. Those of you who like to wash clothing as you go along, the hangers are great for shorts and everything dries beautifully overnight in the bathroom. Bathroom a very nice size. Staff were great, always friendly and a happy welcome when we arrived looking wrecked at the end of each day. If you can get breakfast included, it’s worthwhile. We didn’t but tried it once to see how good it was. Eating area very small but plenty to eat and nice quality.

Every time we got in the lift, we melted. Still, a small price to pay for a good hotel!!

The staff is really nice and helpful. They can arrange hotel pick up and different tours for you. The location is super central and you can walk to many sites and restaurants in the area. The breakfast was great, many different choices and everything was delicious! The beds and blankets were super comfy.

The double rooms face the courtyard and don't get much natural light. Also there's no sound proofing so you can hear everything from the other apartments in the building, like crying children, talking, etc. The rating of the hotel gets inflated because the staff asks you to only leave 10 star reviews and not write a review if you are going to rate them anything below a 10, which defeats the point of having a review process in the first place.

Great location, staff are really wonderful. Always helpful in transport, phone sim, all trips and advice on what to do in the area. The rooms are very clean and bed’s super comfortable, they provide water, kettle and fridges as well as a room safe. Very good at ensuring you have all you need. The breakfast we had included was so nice with plenty of options and you can have as much as you like 🤩 would highly recommend. A lovely plus is that it’s located on a street with a locals market of fresh produce which is beautiful by day. They have discounted pricing at a massage and beauty salon which is a great place to try out too.

The staff was phenomenal - we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived to when we checked out. There were some minor issues but staff was very receptive and they resolved them quickly. If you are interested in day tours, airport transfer, or sim card, they will help you organize it as well. Breakfast spread was nice - there was a buffet and also made-to-order station with pho and several types of egg dishes. Wifi signal is strong throughout the building.

The hotel is in a small alley, so you are protected from street noises. However, car is inaccessible, so you will most likely have to drag your luggage for a minute. The room is quite small, but it's a great value for money given the location.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff, especially the one who is only two weeks new (I didn't get his name, sorry), I've been traveling A LOT, but I'm sure he is the best hotel man I've ever met, he knows what he is doing and he sees, hears even in the distance!! He is real. The restaurants he recommended me are all good, cheap, genuin I think. And breakfast was great too, you can pic main(not one but as you want), daily menu of dish and fruits, fruit juice etc, very satisfying. I really had a good time, if I ever come back to Vietnam, I must stay here again.

Only thing I was little bothered was the noise of the door when I leave, how hard I try, I can't close it quietly, hope I didn't bother my neighbors too much. Come back inside and close it does not make much noise, I wonder why. Other than that, everything is great, just perfect!!

This hotel is a hidden gem in Hanoi. From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff were unbelievable for us. I have to say a big thank you to Jessica, Quinn and the other guys (who I unfortunately did not get their names) for all their help and advice while we stayed there. We are going back in a few days time and I honesty am looking forward to it. I don’t have a bad word to say about the place and would recommend it to any of my family and friends and to anyone looking though the reviews.

Nothing, would stay again if we ever go back to Hanoi after this trip.
