Got double charged because of booking.com and it ruined the travel plans of the next upcoming days

The hotel was clean and modern, super cool looking. The staff was amazing and the room itself was very clean. We didn't bring a pet with us, but I love how many people had their pups with them. The outside lounge area and the game room was awesome for our family!

The only thing I wish would have been different is the room had been a little bigger. I thought we had reserved a room with a lounge area- like a couch and chair and whatnot- and two beds. We were in town for a Strongman competition (it's super close to a Strongman gym and the venue where the competition was held) and fitting a heavyweight strongman and his strongman wife and two kids in a small space is a challenge. Plus, there was no table to eat, so we ordered food and had to sit in bed to eat. The room was clean and nice, just a little on the small side. We own a Strongman gym in Colorado Springs, and if we had athletes going to Cheyenne, we would recommend this hotel with that side note.

the check-in worker when we got there was more than amazing. friendly. helpful. professional! the decor and style was amazing. the Pool was very enjoyable and comfortable. the gym had many pieces of equipment. it made for a good workout.

the morning crew was the opposite. at breakfast a worker got the last two pancakes and he put them behind the front counter for later. I wasn’t going to get pancakes but he didn’t know that and he wasn’t putting the guest first by his actions. he was working. that was unprofessional and classless.

Good location for Cheyenne. Far enough from the rail depot that only a slight rumble could be heard as the trains arrived and departed. The rooms were very minimalist, with only those things that travelers really need. A large comfy bed, a nice flat screen with an excellent selection of channels, a roomy shower, a single chair, and some shelving for your travel items. I really appreciate the thought that went into the room design (especially the vinyl flooring). The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the included breakfast was decent, and our room was clean and everything worked (TV, shower, lights, etc).

The walls and floors could have used a little better sound insulation. I could hear other hotel guest walking around in the room above ours until very late at night. But it was not as bad as other hotels I have visited in the USA and Europe where you could hear literally everything. This noise was noticeable, but not so loud that I could not sleep through it. This noise was probably an unforeseen consequence of decorating the rooms with luxury vinyl flooring instead of carpet. However I would take the vinyl flooring over carpeting for it's cleanliness any day, even if the price is a little more noise coming from the ceiling.

The room was booked by a parent that wanted to pay for it on change card. Parent called to confirm room, and pay for it the day of arrival, staff first wouldn't take a payment , said had to be the person staying. If you booked the room, you should be able to pay for it. So then she got a manager who took my info. said it was paid for. Then when son arrived there was this big confusion and he had to call me to confirm payment prior to them giving him a room

It was not much the hotel could do about it directly, but the parking lot had a ton of trucks with trailers parked sideways taking up five to six spots each. Same with a Uhaul. The bathroom corners need a little more focus when being cleansed because there was a build up of dirt in the corners.

Breakfast was great and there were plenty of options. Everything was sparkling clean in our room and throughout the building. We appreciated the pool towels. We liked the water bottle refill station.

Connecting to the wifi was not super user-friendly. At breakfast, a rated-R film was on the lobby TV with an explicit sex scene and nudity. It would have been nice to have streaming service access on the room TV.

Location, staff, friendliness of everyone involved.

There were minor issues with the flooring in the room. Could become a safety hazard. Also under the edges of the bed the floor was dirty

I didn’t buy any snacks but when I glanced at the selection it seemed there was a lot of junk food. I know it’s hard to keep fresh healthy options that are counter stable but something to consider if possible

I liked the added features they had in the room to make the small space feel more functional.

The biggest thing I didn’t like was that the facility was still requiring masks even though the Hilton website and emails said they are following CDC guidelines and the areas guidelines for masks so this meant we had to pick time slots if we wanted to use the pool or workout area. Because of this it detoured us from using features that are tied into the price of the room.
