Sequim West Inn

The location is on a main drag so there are restaurants and a chain grocery store nearby. This is an older motel that has been somewhat renovated (excluding the 70s decor in the room). Nothing exciting here but the room was basic and spacious and clean and the bed comfy. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was an asset along with a big screen TV. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The 70s decor, heavy on the wood accents (including faux wood beams on the ceiling), could be off-putting but did not affect the comfort of our stay.

The room was super clean. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever been in! The bed was amazing. Real blankets and pillows, not the cheap stuff other hotels give you. We had the best night's sleep! The laundry facilities were very clean and functional and the location made it easy to walk to dinner.

The room was outdated and had kind of an old smell to it. But we ultimately didn't mind because everything else was super nice. Again, one of the cleanest hotels and most comfortable beds we've ever had!

My room, while modest, was clean and had a comfortable bed, lots of hot water and soft towels and the tv, heater and fridge worked fine. I was in Sequim helping family with an emergency so that was all I needed. The location worked well for my needs and the staff was friendly. Though I didn't use it, I believe they have a laundry room, which for me would be a plus. Check to make sure.

The placement of the shower head was a low. I think it was maybe 5'8", which is shorter than me. But the water pressure was good.

Very clean room and bath, comfortable bed, good quality towels, coffee, microwave and mini-fridge in room. Ample, convenient parking, good WiFi and decent TV channels. Friendly staff and extra coffee/tea in lobby. Very good value for the money. We can't remember the last time we had such quality at $55/night. Motel even gave us complementary access to plug in our adapter to charge the batteries of our Chevy Volt hybrid (10 kWh of electricity or about $1 worth for overnight charge). Excellent location within walking distance to Sawadee Thai restaurant for dinner, Mariner Cafe for breakfast, Safeway for groceries, McDonald's for fast food and Costco for gas. Also close to the Olympic Discovery Bike Trail.

Great location and value - close to all the things you’d want to do on the NE coast of the Olympic Peninsula

Bad wet dog smell when I arrived - luckily I was able to clear the air by alternately opening the windows and then running the room AC Road noise is pretty bad with a few hot riders running down the large road with glass pack or no mufflers at all hours - bring ear plugs!

The staff was incredible. They were friendly and helpful. The gave us a downstairs room when we requested it with no extra charge.The room reminded me of a European hotel room from what I’ve seen on TV. It was small, cozy, and very clean. The price was excellent. We had two objectives of visiting Neah Bay and Port Townsend/Fort Worden. Both were accomplished as day trips.

The heating system was a bit confusing. It worked well. The remote was a bit difficult to figure out. There were instructions but, for me, they were hard to understand. Maybe operator error.

larger room than expected. Clean. Only thing not good condition was drapes Had an issue with the heating/cooling unit leaking. Turned on the heat and came back from dinner and found water all over the sink. Passed info on to staff. Not an issue for us, just wiped up the water. Didn't need to run the unit as the room was warm enough. May be an issue when weather cools.

Although an older property, it was very clean inside and out. Parking is included and plenty of spaces. I was on the first floor so easy in and out. The room included a fridge, microwave, coffee pot and all was placed on a good size counter. The hotel is close to fast food, as well as a good grocery store with gas station (Safeway), so I bought my meals there. I was visiting a friend just a few blocks from the hotel so I was happy with the location. Staff was very nice, daily housekeeping and maintenance well done.

The curtains didn't quite close over the window alongside the bed, but I used an alligator clip to secure them for privacy. I brought and used my own bedding and pillow for comfort as the bed was just too hard for me.

I loved this inn. The design in the room is fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. I stayed for 3 nights while visiting Olympic National Park and it was a great location to everything.

The inn uses an old school key for the door. Like a real, metal door key. I was always paranoid I was going to lose it.
