Room was big, clean and neat. Supplies were ample. Affordable and perfect for a place to crash after hiking for a day. Close to restaurants and staff was great in responding to needs.

The room smelled a bit musty so we had to air it out a bit. The shower curtain and mat smelled weird. It might be the chemicals they use to clean.

My expectations were completely met for the price of this room. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, the staff were friendly, the location is walking distance to several great bars and restaurants and coffee shops open early in the morning. It's run by a lovely young family and they're doing a great job.

The room has good quality windows but the motel is on a busy street, so there is some street noise. If that bothers you sleep with earplugs. This is a very well kept but older road motel and the whole point when it was built was convenience for the traveler, hence the location. Old reviews noting poor housekeeping might relate to the previous owner or management, but everything was great this stay.

The receptionist gave us a warm welcome when we arrived a little later in the evening and even checked on us while we were still on our way to Port Angeles. The room was nice and cozy and had everything we needed for our two-night stay. The location is perfect and close to the harbor and from there you can start your trip for the day into Olympic National Park. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly.

The walls are not well insulated between rooms or the above ceilings and up until 10-11pm it can be quite noisy, again same thing in the morning starting about 6am. There isn’t any air conditioning only fans in the windows which exposes you to all the parking lot and street noises. Fortunately being late September the room remained cool but you had all the noise.

The manager was awesome; friendly, helpful, super nice! We stayed here our entire booking, glad we did. Location was good, easy to get around. Price was reasonable.

The bed was comfy, but the pillows didn't fit my neck, was fine for my husband. The lighting was dim. The motel was older, but had everything we needed. The walls and ceiling were thin, kids above us running and jumping woke us at 5:30am; manager bent over backwards to make us happy, as well as offering a full refund if we choose to go elsewhere. The people above us lied on their booking; said no kids. They left their room a total mess, and were rude to the manager. We had no problems after that. The manager was awesome; friendly, helpful, super nice! We stayed here our entire booking, glad we did. Unfortunately, and no fault to the motel, the restaurants we wanted to go to for our anniversary closed early or weren't open due to shortage of staff.

We were celebrating our 48th anniversary and came over for the Port Angeles Crab Festival. The location was outstanding, just a couple blocks from the event. Rooms were clean an cozy. Had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again! The person at the the front desk was friendly and welcoming!

Everything was great! I would recommend someone defrost the freezer in 222!

The location of this hotel was good ( downtown ) for our needs and what we were planning on doing.. The bed is comfortable but the rest of the furniture is very old. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is old and not updated. The walls are very thin. The furniture looked like it was the original from when the hotel was built probably in the 50s. But it was functional.

For our cycle trip (Olympic Discovery Trail), this motel was well located. The owners very helpfully provided secure lockup for our bikes, and held our backpack for 2 days while we were on trail. Unexpectedly they also provided a free upgrade to king suite (we didn't ask, they just offered).

Flagstone is on a busy road - as in speed traffic all night. Light sleepers may want ear plugs!

The location was perfect and the view of the mountains from my room was amazing. The bed in my room was very comfortable.

The motel clerk should leave a note in the lobby when she leaves the front desk to go and clean a room to let the guests know when she will be back. Also, the exterior of the motel building could use a facelift to make it look more current and more inviting from the outside.

Was staying in Port Angeles to see Olympic National park, and needed somewhere simple and affordable to stay. I'm a light sleeper, and when I explained that to the manager, he was kind enough to put me in an upper floor room at the back of the property, furthest from the road. Whilst the road is fairly busy, and you do get noise from it, I found it totally acceptable for sleeping (and I'm a fussy sleeper). That said I did have my usual earplugs and brown noise on. The room did have a bit of a stale smell on entry, but it's probably just from being old. Other than that it was very clean and had everything I needed. The view of the mountains was great.
