Explanation of best way to get to room

it was very close to the location Bellingham that we were going to. The staff was very helpful when I needed an iron and an ironing board. There were good things about having a cart to get up and down from our room on the third floor.

I spilled a little water on the floor, and when I went to clean it up, the floor was fairly dirty

Liked the waffles for breakfast... Helpful front desk staff..

Need more space to hang up clothes..

Great location across from Fred Meyers. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Really enjoyed my day. I will be back!!!!!

easy access to the freeway and shopping

charged $150 deposit, then I’m the middle of the second night of our stay there was another $129.23 charged to my card. When I asked about the charges the only explanation I got was “other guests were charged too and it’s just a pending, it’ll come off in a couple days” $270 in “deposits” tied up during a vacation was not in the budget. I’ll add I checked out Sunday, it is Wednesday and those deposit holds have still not been released. transparency wouldn’t been nice when it comes to a deposit, I would’ve never booked.

Value for money; very convenient location for shopping (food, cafes, etc) and hiking/walking and going to Bellingham downtown. Woods coffee is just in front of the Guesthouse Inn. Whatcom Falls Park and Whatcom Creek are just nearby. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is specious and the bed is very comfortable. Actually I extended my stay because of these great benefits.

Nothing

From the outside, it looks a little janky. But the inside looks ao much better and the rooms were really great, especially for the price. Loved having a microwave and fridge in the room when traveling with young kids. Great location, near a park, sports plex, public swimming pool, grocery stores, gas stations, and coffee shop. I was very pleased with the overall experience.

Next to the highway, so there is a lot of noise. Cant really do anything about that.

Clean, quiet, convenient location to Trader Joe's, WholeFoods, Fred Mayer store and to friends who lived 5 minutes away. Room was well furnished , bed comfortable but high. Continental breakfast was excellent. Nice size refrigerator. Nice dryer that also served as night light. Great value. 👍 👌 👍 👌 👍

Minor inconvenience but...Unfortunately no hooks to hang coat/ jacket or any clothes. It's ok not to have closet but absolutely nothing to hang clothes...it is inexpensive, simple, and thrre is space to put in hooks by entry doorway! Water drained poorly in sink. Shelf in bathroom should be hung higher so long bath towels don't hang over toilet 🙃. Cut shower curtain or place pole higher so it is not so long inside tub. Light bulb missing from desk lamp. No coffee maker or hot water maker in room but available in breakfast room only....would like hot coffee or tea while dressing and getting ready to go out or coming back at night.

We greatly appreciate having a dog-friendly option for our overnight stay in Bellingham. Our room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We're also grateful for the coffee and snacks in the morning.

This isn't the property's fault, but our dog was distracted a few times throughout the night by noises in the hall, so we had a rough night's sleep trying to get her to relax and not bark. A couple suggestions regarding breakfast would be: offer real cream or half-and-half with the coffee; include some savory / non-sweet options such as bagel or toast and cream cheese.
