Sundial Inn

Some of the staff was fantastic like last year! You get what you pay for, though. The hotel isn't too far from the beach. No roaches, no bugs, and pool cleaned daily.

We didn't get clean towels delivered to the room on the weekend, which we were told "they don't do that." I needed the sheets changed as they wouldn't come in to do that. The carpet was dirty by day 4 out of 8, and I couldn't get my room cleaned even when purring the maid service tag out. I know places are short staffed but at least politely let me know and I'll do it. The shower had hair in it again, which I cleaned and also wiped everything before leaving.

We stayed 6 ppl in a deluxe double and managed to fit everyone requesting a rollout bed ! It wasn’t bad at all and that was with three toddlers , ac worked everything in the kitchen worked short walk to the beach pool was open and warm ! No bugs and everything seemed to be clean !

The elevators kept breaking and when checking out we had to carry down the steps but honestly wasn’t bad ! Bring your own appliances also I knew before hand so it wasn’t bad but if you are unaware it might be a problem !

The Inn was conveniently located and was clean, even though there was ongoing construction. The price was very good for the location. We just needed a place to sleep, and this Inn hit the mark.

There was a coffee maker in the room, but from our experience, the coffee packets offered are not tasty - almost worse than instant coffee. So offering fresh brewed coffee would have been a plus. The parking situation was quite tight (we have Ford F-150). Also, the sink was a bit slow to drain. Finally, the smoke detector in our room was covered with a plastic bag, which I venture to say was illegal.

Nice and very friendly staff. Fast and easy check inn. The location is amazingly close to the beach and restaurants, safe location very family friendly, no need to drive. Fair for the price.

Sadly the house keepers only changed trash and towels daily but don’t make beds or clean the bathroom, impossible to not pour sand to the bathtub after coming from the beach but the housekeeper doesn’t clean the rooms at all.

Our room was excellent in comfort and a great value for the price. We were only a block and a half from the beach (about a 5 minute walk) and there is a nice seafood restaurant across the street. the suite we had included a kitchenette with a full fridge, a microwave and a stove (BYO Pans). Staff was friendly and helpful. the neighborhood had a casual family-friendly atmosphere, which made us feel safe and relaxed.

The entry walkway to the rooms was dirty with cigarette butts and an old cup.

The staff at the front desk was friendly & polite. Eventhough I didn't have my room cleaned, while I was there. The cleaning person still asked if I needed anything. The location was good, only a few blocks to the convention center & beach.

The only issue I had, was the traffic noise from the streets. The street next to this location was a main highway road that converted to a street that went into boardwalk. This is something the motel has no control over. The rooms were outdated, but had a good size to them. The kitchen, which I didn't use seemed okay. The bathroom was a very tight space, including the shower area. The fiberglass tub flooring felt very loose, as if it was gonna crack upon using the shower.

the employees are excellent! it was such an easy check in process and there was a new guy working that went above and beyond to get our paperwork going and even helped up bring our stuff up to the third floor. I was so impressed by his professionalism and appreciative of the help. The location was walkable to the best bars and restaurants and even SUPER close to the beach! We had a great stay and would definitely return.

the beds were pretty hard and there was something in the room that triggered my allergies horribly.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is central to a ton of great restaurants! I went in October so I wasn't interested in going to the beach but it's two blocks from the beach front. There's plenty of parking which you get for free for one vehicle per room.

Though the facility is 100% non smoking my room did smell a little smoky. I assume it's from years of being a smoking room previously and it will eventually go away.

The staff were friendly and helpful! The location amazing for the price. The fridge and air unit worked great! We got free internet, cable, coupon book,etc. Overall a very pleasant stay with my mom for the four days and three night visit we had together. I would recommend this place if you don't expect perfection and give them a little grace considering the shortage in staff you see most places.

It wasn't as clean as I had hoped but still an excellent rate for how close to the beach it was. The bathtub didn't look like it had been cleaned and there was dirt and hair in it. It was also a bit noisy. The first night we had loud bass music but we mentioned it to the staff and they addressed it. I did bring my own cleaner so that helped. I do wish they had paper towels and tissues.

Excellent location!! Very close to board walk and beach, AND great restaurants within 1 mile in either direction. Rarely drove the whole stay as everything was VERY convenient to just walk to!

Signs said to leave towels up to reuse to save on wasting water, however staff would change ALL towels regardless. Felt wasteful, so I opted to put Do not disturb on the door. But would've been nice if this was followed. Also, Office didn't monitor ice machine enough so sometimes people were taking HUGE ice chests and using up all the ice.
