Hampton Inn- Suffolk

Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. We live in Va Beach but chose this hotel to stay at in preparation for a procedure at Obici Hospital. Because of the specialty procedures now available at Obici, I expect that more patients will be travelling there from out of town. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for anyone but particularly for patients who don't want to worry about traffic. It's within sight of the hospital! I spoke with the staff at Obici and our physician's office to pass on my recommendation of the Hampton Inn. I encouraged them to let other patients know about it. No one wants to get stuck in traffic in the middle of a tricky prep for surgery! My husband and I agreed that staying at the Hampton Inn Suffolk was a great decision that was comfortable, convenient, enjoyable and gave us great peace of mind.

Loved the breakfast selections. Room was clean and updated. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Room service doesn’t clean everyday. You have to request it. I was expecting to come back to an already cleaned room. Wish I was informed of that upon checking in.

Everything was relaxing and comfortable.

My husband and I stay here every year at least twice during the holidays and few times after and we love this hotel! The beds are the most comfortable and the rooms are beautiful and so clean usually. The staff is so kind and they have a great breakfast. Thank you to the entire staff!! They are amazing and hard workers. Great place to stay in Suffolk for sure!

The only issue we had this stay (Nov. 2021) was the price of the rooms. They are "A LOT" MORE then we have EVER paid in our prior visits! I know the economy is not GOOD now, but I think that it was just a bit to high in price and hope they can go back to what they charged before or at least a little cheaper so we can continue to plan our stay their when visiting our family. But other than that it's the best hotel we've ever stayed at! (In the East Coast)

The hotel is 3 minutes to my family so it's perfect. We had our cats with us and it wasn't any problem. The breakfast wasn't as good as usual but hey it's something and gets you started. Our first room had some mechanical problems but one call and them just moved us down the hall.

The room decor and style was beautiful. The space was clean. Cedric the customer service agent on night shift was super kind. He called to confirm I was still set to arrive and solve an issue with my reservation. When I finally arrived late he knew who I was when I walked in and greeted me by name. Due to the level of customer care he provided I intend to stay at this facility each time I’m in town moving forward.

There was a water-bug/cockroach live in action in the closet. But that’s understandable with so much rain.

I liked the fact that the Suffolk Hampton Inn wasn't a dump like the Elizabeth City Hampton Inn. I also liked the fact that the Suffolk Hampton Inn doesn't charge an outrageous amount of money for a dirty room which has been my experience in Elizabeth City. I specifically booked the room in Suffolk because I was sick of being charged out the ying-yang for a filthy room at the Hampton Inn - Elizabeth City.

The only thing that would have helped was an on-screen TV guide for the television.

My wife and I were totally impressed and we were sorry that we could only stay one night. I we are ever in the Suffolk area again, we would definitely stay at your facility. I was overjoyed at what I received for the money I spent.

It was all fantastic and there is nothing that I did not like. The staff was very professional and pleasant. The decor was over the top and the room was outstanding. Thank you for making everything that we did was exceptional.
