La Quinta by Wyndham St. Albans

Staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast and lobby was wonderful. Beds were comfortable. Room was at a great temp when we got there and it was a nice bonus to have the refrigerator already on and cold.

Bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. Not horrible but needed a bit more attention. Door was banged up. It looked as though someone had tried to break in. The pool looked to have been filled to much. Water everywhere. And they said they didn’t except cash which I guess I understand because you use a credit card to hold the room but if I didn’t have a credit card or debit card i should still be able to walk in and pay cash for a room.

I arrived late in the evening, the hotel was notified in advance and I was greeted by a friendly fellow at the reception desk. I had seen some worrying comments on earlier posts but I didn't find any of those problems. The hotel was clean, the staff inviting and the room comfortable. That a full breakfast was available was an added bonus and added value to my stay. The hotel is a bit on the periphery but that is reflected in the price. I would stay there again.

Good breakfast served every morning - friendly staff - nice pool area and water was pretty warm most of the time.

Room size wasn't sufficient for 4 adults & 1 child - no sleeper sofa and not much extra space. Construction/remodeling being done on 2nd floor during stay.

It is most definitely pet friendly! King suite is spacious with a couch, TV, desk, mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom was big too. The hotel is located right off of the highway ramp but is surprisingly quiet.

Front desk staff was not always at the front desk. Some staff were very impersonal. They didn’t greet you upon entering or exiting. The free breakfast leaves a bit to be desired. Pre packaged muffins, waffles and the sort. Fresh fruit available along with cereal, yogurt and fruit cups. Coffee and juice too.

Love the location right off the highway and a convenience store / gas station right next door

There appears to be some upgrades in the works on the top floor but I (and my companion) did not sleep well - The bed was very uncomfortable and I have stayed at this in many, many times but this time, the sleep we got was not good

Front desk person on sat morning was very accommodating of our request for a later checkout. Super helpful.

Room smell was pretty antiseptic though that may just be the result of the COVID times we’re living in. Wish you could open a window and air things out.

Location was perfect for our needs. It's 2 minutes away from the hospital and it was a great spot for us to go back and forth! We hope they have space again if we ever have to go back!

You have to request to have your room cleaned up and new towels. They do not do it automatic

Front desk staff was super helpful and gave me a complete rundown of the facilities and told me all the great features you provide.

I slept so good I was almost late to work. :)

The room was clean and everything worked.

Too far from town to walk from restaurants but you could get delivery. Seemed expensive for the quality of facilities and the stairwells were hot and not particularly clean.
