Inn at Buck Hollow Farm

The couple that owns the Inn were lovely and upgraded us to a larger room when they saw we had a small child for free. The property was homey, clean and well stocked with beverages and snacks available for purchase. There’s a sunroom where you can mingle with other guests, play a board game or watch a movie on a larger screen. My 3 yr old daughter enjoyed the pool and sprawling grounds to run around and play on. The homemade breakfast was delicious.

Felt a little rushed to check out immediately after breakfast. We planned to go back up to our room and finish getting ready and leave but it seemed like we were expected to leave and this this at 9am? A bit early for check out

Could not ask for a more comfortable, welcoming experience than a stay at Buck Hollow. From the delicious breakfasts to the gorgeous surroundings to all the little amenities we never expected but certainly enjoyed (space to play games and enjoy an evening drink in the sunroom, homemade maple ice cream in the freezer!) - we can’t wait to go back and stay again. It’s perfectly located as a base from which to see much of northern VT, but next time we plan to spend more time just relaxing at the inn, it was so lovely.

It was fairly close to Burlington, vt, where most things are so quite convenient location. They have specific rooms that are pet friendly so we stayed in the yellow room, which opens to a large backyard area directly from the room’s porch. This was great for our pup and we even had our last breakfast on the porch! Oh… talking about breakfast… the breakfast was AMAZING. Seriously, better than what you’ll get at. 5 star hotel. The hostess knows exactly what she’s doing… I’ll just back just for the breakfast lol

We were disappointed that they closed our their hot tub even though they haven’t updated their welcome booklet.

Having access to the heated pool at night was awesome, given how hot it was the weekend we went up. If you’re looking for a Vermont getaway, this is an awesome low key spot if you’re not into the same pricey hotels around Burlington. Felt like visiting grandmas, in the best way possible! Coffee/tea in the morning, pamphlets on local activities, the kindest most accommodating people, can’t go wrong. This is not a hotel- this is a personalized stay that you can’t get anywhere else!

It was a bit odd that our bathroom window opened to our neighboring room’s porch- we could hear their convos and I’m sure they heard us in the bathroom lol. But no big deal to me at all, they were very social and also didn’t seem to mind!

I hate to give such a glowing review, because I want to keep this GEM all to myself. But Jackie is the most amazing breakfast cook, the Blue room was so cozy, the setting idyllic and the charm amazing. For the same price staying at a name brand hotel in Burlington or Essex, I got all this and the friendliness of our hosts and the other vaccinated guests. Near breweries and disc golf.Dont miss Valor on tap at 14th Star in St. Albans.

The dogs barked at first, and I'm a little skittish, but they turned out to be total sweethearts.

Beautiful home and property. My room was very private and comfortable. I had my own personal deck and private bathroom. There were also spacious communal areas should you wish to visit with other guests. perfect set up for a Bed and Breakfast.

Common room was very welcoming and comfortable. Good selection of snacks and drinks to supplement the evenings. Bedroom was as expected. Clean, well-furnished, Private. No noise issues.

Ran out of propane on Sunday that only delayed breakfast slightly, no big deal. More time to enjoy time with guests while waiting.

We loved how secluded it was and even though it has started to get cold out we loved that there was a pool and hot tub on the property. We also thought that the breakfast was delicious!

Even though the WiFi was only available in the common room and spotty around the house it was fine and good to disconnect from social media for a few days.

The quiche served for breakfast was the best I have eaten. The location was exceedingly quiet. The facilities were clean and welcoming. The canopy over the bed was a great touch. I am going to hand the same with my family guest roombed.

Very friendly owners, super clean bedroom and bathroom, proximity to Mount Mansfield and Stowe, fair price.

Not many choices for breakfast. The bedroom had only one chair.
