Hampton Inn Salt Lake City Central

The one bedroom king suite I stayed in was absolutely phenomenal!! The whole room was Gorgeous, extremely clean, well decorated, huge windows for natural light in sitting area and bedroom and well ventilated having a thermostat in the sitting area and a second one in the bedroom. The sitting area (frontroom) was huge, well decorated, very clean, plenty of sitting spaces in very well placed areas and plenty of little things you don't usually think about like separate lighting and outlets to charge phones or whatever needing power. The sitting area also had i guess I'd call a wet bar and dining area in a well placed spot back in its own space. There was a large counter with a sink, it had plenty of storage space, microwave and fridge. There was a nice little eating table with two chairs as well which was nice to not have to sit on the bed or sofa to eat.. The bedroom was also perfect. It to was a very large space with a comfortable king size bed, huge closet with mirrored doors, plenty of storage, another TV, a decent sized desk with nice desk chair, side tables on both sides of bed, plenty of separate lighting and plenty of outlets. In the bedroom there was the door to the main space sitting/dining area and then another door the les into the bathroom. The bathroom once again was very large and beautiful having two entrances one to the bedroom and the main one. It had a massive shower with sliding glass doors and bench with two shower heads one regular and the other a rainfall one. The counter space was large with complimentary hygiene, plenty of really nice huge soft body towels, hand towels and wash clothes and plenty of outlets. Out the main door out side the bathroom right off to the side of the hotel door was a nice space with another counter that had a sink, complimentary hygiene and more towels. There was another huge closet for storage as well with mirrored doors like the bedroom. I definitely wouldn't hesitate on booking this room again.

Breakfast was excellent, the hotel was very nice ,clean and comfortable.

The mix up that occured when I checked in since I had already paid on line and the was charged again apon arrival by the desk clerk was a real pain to resolve even tho the clerk noticed right away and informed me of the error within 5 min. Yet neither you or the hotel was willing to refund and both charges posted to my account. I finally turned the matter over to my credit card company for them to resolve it .

The room was clean and the beds comfortable

At 3 am there was a guy with bright construction vest talking very loud at the lobby with the lady at front desk and he woke me up. He was not a guest. I could hear the conversation from my bedroom. I had to tell the guy from the balcony at the lobby he was too loud. I could not go back to sleep until after 5 am. Some seats and fury at the lobby show wear. They need to be replaced.

The hotel follows the pattern of the chain, thus there is nothing to add further what is supposed to receive.

I'm very upset with the treatment I've been receiving as the Booking.com as the hotel, considering the attempts I've tried to solve an issue about values agreed and not accomplished by the hotel.

With a rental car, free parking, and a restaurant next door, it worked well for us. Without a car it would not be the best location. The staff were very friendly and responsive.

The in room refrigerator was not working and the sink in the bathroom was draining very slowly.

TV was not working , Had to change the input to Cable each time TV was turned on. It took until the 2nd day to figure this out on my own! No recycling for paper or plastic - This was disappointing!

it was clean, quiet, breakfast was very good

the website stated there was a shared restaurant, and it had an area to relax and have a drink. the restaurant was comparable to a low class dennys, there were no “ drinks” except coffee…..the snack area only had candy…..not standard for Hampton?

The room was nice, very be comfortable.. Nice design, great channels on tv.

The phone in our room didn't work, it rang and we would try to answer but couldn't hear anything. When checking out we thought that check out was noon because that's what it said on the phone in the room, but apparently it was actually eleven and we were told we had twenty minutes to get out of the room or we were gonna be charged for another half day. Plus when they were telling us this they did not have a good attitude. Very rude and felt disrespected. (You guys should think about adding microwaves)

Good selection of hot and cold breakfast items. Quiet stay. No noisy neighbors. Despite being close to highway, we didn't receive any traffic noise; the room was facing the road but the windows were double glass. There wasn't that peculiar hotel room smell. Big room. wide space at the reception area. Blackout curtains were great.

Toilet flush needs to be repaired. It is not sufficient at all, and it is not becoming to such a nice hotel! There are not many restaurant options nearby.

The breakfast was surprisingly good. Lots of appealing choices for kids and adults and a menu that varies day-to-day so it's not just the same old same old. Staff was friendly, attentive, and accomodating.

Location was great for us since we spend a lot of time in West Valley area, however, that particular area seems to be popular for drag racing around midnight- no fault of hotel or staff. Hair in shower upon arrival- other than that that, everything met or exceeded expectations.
