Bayfront Cottages

Family owned they were so nice! Cottages looked to be freshly remodeled, swimming pool was clean. Pier was right across the street. Walking distance to food. People were so friendly met lots of new friends! CAN'T wait to book again!

The location is great, right by the water and the Fulton mansion is next door. Owners were extremely nice. The room is bigger than it looked online, extra chairs in the room besides the couch for seating and a large table to pull out to eat on. There is a dock for fishing. Nice big shower, and very clean.

I would have given them a 10, except the ac in the room is a bit small, they did have set on 60 but too small for room size, just not as cold as I like it, but still it was cool, TV is small hard to see from beds. The dock needs some repairs boards sticking up in places, easy to trip.

Excellent place for fishermen and fisherwomen. The pier is right there, the bait shop is right there and a great place to eat (the boiling pot) is all within a quarter of a mile. If your going to cook while you're there make sure you bring paper plates and cups and a gas stove and cutlery.

I had a great time! This place is great if you like to fish. Room was clean, and the staff was great! They have grills and smokers there, so bring your charcoal and wood for smoking. They have a really nice ice machine and could use as much as you want to fill coolers to go fishing.

Perfect location, literally across the street from their private fishing pier. Next door to the Fulton Mansion. This place is primarily used for fishing trips so you won't find cushy amenities. It's clean and safe and comfortable, and the staff were very nice but it's not cushy at all. If you're looking for an excellent place to fish, with a bait shop in walking distance, this place is perfect. If you're looking for cushy, try the fancier hotels nearby.

It was a bit outdated with wobbly picnic tables and some broken or boarded up windows, probably leftover hurricane damage, but could use some work on the overall looks of the place.

Location was great. Right across the street from the water. Has a private pier. A/C works fine. TV worked fine with lots of channels. Was not able to hook up with the internet. No utensils or cups or cleaning products were in the room. No stove in the kitchen area. Only fridge and microwave and sink. Place was clean. Did see a cockroach, but this is S Texas in the summer. Personnel in the office were nice and helpful. Convenient to everything in Rockport.

Room could have a little more warmth to it. Very austere. Hard metal chairs at kitchen table. Rolling office chairs for guests to sit on. Maybe some kind of rug on the floor. Would add some warmth to the area. Did have a sofa bed, but we didnt need it. Maybe a small coffee table in front of the couch and a couple of end tables and a lamp next to it. Just dressing the room up with a little color and accessories would help.

Me and my son had a great time. It was in the most perfect location; The price was amazing and right across their private pier so perfect f or fishing. My son enjoyed everything. The lady to the office recommended restaurants and other places to visit while we stayed.

The outside there was trash, but I understood cause some ppl when they check out they do not pick up after themselves. But overall, everything was amazing. A little trash did not stop us from enjoying our vacation.

It was exactly what we expected, nothing less. We wanted somewhere for a guys weekend fishing trip and it did not disappoint. The property and rooms were clean, no fancy frills but the rooms were clean and the AC blew cold air for a great nights sleep. The pier across the street made for a fun evening. The manager was very friendly.

maybe a few extra towels. extra sheets and pillows, but the manager kindly and promptly provided everything we needed. A coffee maker would be nice. but those are not deal breakers.

I’m a regular & enjoy talking with the owners very friendly. Bayfront has been around since I was a child & would like to see them remodeled, Hurricane did some damage to windows that are bordered up, but I also understand people take things that don’t belong to them from the rooms & owners are always having to replace that’s not fair to the owners as they try to spruce things up for their guests. Location is perfect for Fulton & fishing is good off their pier. Love being able to take my pet with me & it was a much needed peaceful stay.

It’s not that I don’t like. I just wish for Bayfront to come alive. It has always had that cozy, comfy feel driving in to it as you have your own cabin, friendly customer service, but go in your cabin there’s no life, no enticing colors, holes in the walls, and bare walls, some cabins have broken windows that are boarded up. I find myself mentally creating life in there, adding colors, adding pictures so I guess it inspires my creative juices to flow.

The couple that run the facility are super nice and friendly. We arrived late and they were super nice once we arrived. When we checked out they were completely concerned about whether we were satisfied or not. Just an over all amazing experience. Will be definitely booking here again.
