Wine Country Inn

It is a no frills property but has everything you need! Clean room, hot water, cold air conditioning, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, soap & shampoo plus complimentary breakfast. It has it all! It’s a small property with excellent parking. Your car is always close by. It has a lovely outdoor pool and green space right outside the back door! Very convenient for dog travelers. The staff are always handy, helpful, and friendly! It is a very clean property both inside & out. The rooms are quiet and clean and afford a good night’s sleep.

The location was great, far enough from town to be very quiet but close enough to reach town quickly. Staff was very friendly and efficient. My special requests were noted and allowed. Was very pleased to find my room and bath were exceptionally clean as well as the entire facility.

Stay would have been perfect if I'd slept well, but the mattress was too old and had broken down. It even creaked.

Cute, quaint, easy to get to. Random, but probably the best water pressure for a hotel shower that I’ve ever had! that was awesome! slept comfortably, staff was friendly and helpful.

breakfast area was very small and they didn’t really want you to take food back to your room. if some people didn’t do that, there wouldn’t have been any room to move. the price was very high for one night!

Nice, quiet hotel. It was close to foreboding Fredericksburg, which is exactly what we were looking for.

The hallway was a bit too warm considering the hot weather outside. The second-floor hallway smelled faintly of something similar to cigarette smoke. It would've been nice to have outlets on both sides of the bed. The one on the side closest to the door was a bit too far away from the night table to actually be called "close".

Pros: close location to main street yet far enough to be quiet and secluded, clean room, good wifi, nice customer service, free breakfast, good price for this area, fridge and microwave.

Cons: I know this can't be helped too much, but some neighbors were noisy; I didn't expect this so much since we were staying on the 3rd floor. Some of the lights in our room were flickering, so we couldn't really turn them on and this made the room darker but not completely.

The location is great to head downtown, the vineyards, or back on I10. Staff was super friendly. TV channel selection was great. Rooms are well insulated from a temperature perspective. Sheets and towels were clean.

The soaps and shampoos were of lower quality. Bring your own. Snacks are limited to a few choices in the vending machine. Definitely not a deal breaker with an HEB less than 2 miles away.

I liked the location close to Main Street but far enough to be a quiet area. The staff there was so nice and accommodating. The continental breakfast was great.

First, the place was so clean. It even smelled very nice. The furniture was older, the bed was not soft. But the floor, the bathroom all very very clean.

No frills hotel. Booked for the great price. The hotel is recently remodeled, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly.

There was a big mess on the 3rd floor near the ice machine - Sunday June 18. Breakfast closed at 9:30am. I would prefer later hours on Sat and Sun.

The location was good for us. Enjoyed the breakfast before we headed out for the day. The price was within our budget. Fast check in and easy check out.

When we first got to our room, the wind was blowing so hard, it was very noisy around the windows. Lucky for us the wind stopped blowing by bed time. About 11:00 pm we tired to go to sleep but the people above us had kids that liked to jump and run until close to 12:30 am. Glad we love kiddos.

If you are looking at all the budget motels in town and reading reviews, I’ll save you some time…just book this one. The hotel is clean, nicely updated, good, simple breakfast, outdoor pool, and no carpet! This is the first hotel on our trip that I’ve been okay being barefoot in the room. Clean!
