Breakfast was awesome! I loved the shuttle service you provide for free - this was a VERY BIG PLUS! Every staff member that I came in contact with was phenomenal! The smiles and friendly atmosphere appeared genuine - the fact everyone would take time to have a real conversation and laugh with us made me feel right at home. The room was outstanding. I appreciated the safety features of the elevators. The valet parking was such a convenience. Oh... and the Waffles at breakfast was delicious!!! I would like one now!

I was sad to find out there was no outside pool, but the indoor pool was great - just should stay open later for us night owls. I honestly have nothing bad to say about my stay!

Staff were friendly, accommodations mostly good.

The first thing that bothered us was about the breakfast offering. Specifically, eggs. If you want to offer egg whites, then that should be an option. Scrambled eggs should be available each morning and it was not. Instead a processed concoction was offered. When I spoke to the kitchen staff about this they seemed hostile. Also frequently the coffee pot was empty. Finally, parking. The overnight fee was way too high, and we found out about this only later, I believe in small print.

My room service was none to obsolete. If housekeeping shows up they should not ask do you need anything? They should show up saying we're going to clean the room. Also they shouldn't say just leave your trash outside the room if you like. Customer service and training is needed badly...

Housekeeping and untrained customer service skills

The breakfast was amazing. So many options. Everything was clean and resupplied quickly. There was plenty of seating space for everyone. The room was spacious and quiet. We loved being able to walk to dinner, walk to the Parthenon, explore the park. Vanderbilt was right across the street but we ran out of time to explore.

Directions in advance of how to check in and park would have been nice but more so our unfamiliarity with the area.

Room was nice and a decent size. It was pretty clean for the most part, except looking at little areas like on the register—very dusty. It was odd you had to keep the switch by the door on to use anything on the far bathroom wall. Breakfast was great.

There was no shuttle to downtown, Broadway area as advertised on website. It was covered in dust in the parking garage, looks like it’s never used. great location, lobby, room was very spacious and clean, breakfast and breakfast staff were great!

bad first impression at check in with one of the staff members carrying on a personal conversation with another staff member who was leaving for the day rather than greeting us. she had a cash drawer wide open and sort of left it out and was clearly distracted. Mark checked us in and he was wonderful, professional and friendly!

Breakfast included in the morning, spacious rooms and everything was very clean!

The parking fee per day was a little pricey.

Fantastic options, friendly -- crowded and waffle line could use a sign to say please make one at a time, or one family do not use both irons to allow others to use.

People in general were nice in lines for bfast but some customers a little tone deaf to others around who may like a breakfast as well.

The room was comfortable and just big enough, shower was great, bed was so comfortable. Lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the coffee/hot chocolate was nice. Best breakfast ever at a hotel we were blown away!

The only issue we had was there was a power outage 3 times during our stay. I know that cannot be helped but when it is a big hotel with a lot of people maybe invest in a generator. Other than that our stay was wonderful!

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful without being intrusive, and they provided old-fashioned, genteel, and tasteful hospitality in a uniquely elegant setting. We arrived right at the tail end of the Wednesday evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and the atmosphere in the expansive, handsome lobby and lounge was festive. Breakfast was very good and included some uncommon offerings, including ham and potatoes and tasty pastries. The building is beautiful and has been thoughtfully restored and renovated, and it is located in a lovely neighborhood. Our room had a gorgeous view of an illuminated Gothic tower at Vanderbilt University. It was spacious and comfortable, and it felt pleasantly more like an upscale apartment. Altogether, we had a luxurious experience for little more expense than a stay off the highway. We will definitely return here on a future visit to Nashville. Thank you!
