Gateway Inn

Is a comfortable place to stay with large rooms, nice people, and feels homey. I've stayed there several times and it is a good value.

Read a couple bad reviews but I don't know what they're talking about. The furniture/furnishings may be a bit dated, but is not damaged or in poor condition or anything like that. The price is good and if you want to pay twice as much to sit on somebody else's luxury furniture that's your decision. About the only thing I miss is the little one-cup coffee makers which are absent here, but there is always coffee available in the lobby and it is, in fact, quite good.

the staff was amazing

the first room I was given smelled like cigarettes and the bed sheets were stained on both beds with something yellow and had cigarette burns in them. there were pieces of chocolate on the floor in between both beds, like the crunch bites but bigger. the walls had holes in them too

the property was in a good location, easy to access and near a lot of local restaurants.

there were a lot of mishaps with the room. there was a broken wall socket hanging, the counter in the kitchen area is coming off the wall, the hair dryer was hanging off wall as well, the refrigerator was frozen over and not working and lastly the air conditioning was not working. room definitely needs some tlc.

Only problem there was no continental breakfast like their website said which I understand because of Covid but they could have offered a voucher from a restaurant for breakfast Even if it was $5.00 each day of stay, plus I was on the 2nd floor and the Ice machine was not working and had to use the one downstairs and it could not keep up with all of the amount of people staying But everything else was Great and would stay again!!!

Location was great right off the highway. Lots of great eating places around. Was disappointed that there was No breakfast of any kind. The bed was clean and very comfortable. My room was nice and big.

They need to have a breakfast! Even just juice and cereal would do.

The first room they gave me it was the wrong room for my reservation request but overall they fixed it and rest of the stay was great!

Front desk and staff support were very friendly. If you needed something all you had to do was ask.

Less to do with the hotel itself but at night it seemed like there was a lot of unusual activity. Then again with it being summertime, kids are out of school it was basically just being off Wilma Rudolph it makes sense that there's going to be a lot of activity at night.

Quiet and peaceful close a lot of things that interested us and close to family .front desk stuff was great and very helpful we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again

Housekeeping could have been better she never cleaned room we had ask for clean bedding. And towels and had empty our trash

The price was good. The location was good.andthe bed was comfortable.

The furniture in the room was dirty and worn.the room didn't have a in room coffee pot which really sucks.

found several candy Wrappers and potatoes chip bags under the bed. I ask for a non smoking room. but the room smelled like fresh cigarette smoke and marijuana. towels are to small
