Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rapid City

The rooms are clean and put together well. The beds are very comfortable as well. The staff here are fantastic and treat the customer with genuine kindness.

The website stated that cribs were available. This is not true. I requested a crib and was told they no longer have them. We also received no housekeeping while here and needed to bring our towels downstairs to get new ones. We turned in 3 towels and received two. I needed to bring out our trash as well, and I ended up bringing towels from home.

The staff was friendly and courteous from the front desk receptionist to the cleaning crew. The facility was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh. The accommodations are affordable without skipping on comfort. Microtel offers a nice breakfast. I noticed that the lady in charge of the breakfast area was making sure that everything ran smoothly by adding food when needed, cleaning tables, and keeping surfaces clean. This Microtel was in a nice and safe location close to stores and restaurants. So far, I have never been disappointed by Microtel. Actually when I need to book a hotel, Microtel is my first choice when available.

No negative comments.

NO BED BUGS OR OTHER CRITTERS!!! They DIDN'T require their guests to wear face diapers (masks). The staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable, easy to find & easy access to the interstate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. A good value for the price. I would definitely stay here again! 🙂

The room & hotel was clean overall, but I did see a small hole in the wall by 1 of the beds.

Nice facility. Have stayed before and will stay again. Nothing special, just good, quality overnight stay. Evening staff very good and personal. Rooms are nice, comfortable and quiet, Swimming pool very nice. Automatic doors, elevator and morning coffee added to the experience.

The breakfast was cold with the exception of a toaster and waffle iron. No hot eggs / sausage / bacon, etc.

Location was great and it was nice that they had a shuttle that took you to Sturgis as we were on our Harleys and the weather was rainy. Breakfast was pretty simple as it was just cereal. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very friendly.

Breakfast could’ve been a little bit better as I am used to a hot breakfast offered at most motels

It was in a good location to access, Deadwood and all the State and National Parks as well as Mount Rushmore and Downtown. Staff were friendly. Had very good facilities. Breakfast was very good.

This is a great hotel. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Breakfast wasn’t anything good. A bunch of just left overs put out for grabs, and to get fresh towels/clean room you have to request them to bring them, they don’t do it every 3 days like they say..

We liked everything in the hotel, the room, breakfast, tea/coffee available in the lobby, friendly staff. I really loved sitting in the “sofa” by the window in our room, enjoying a cup of tea while looking out of the window and watching people come and go. Last but not least, it was for an affordable price.

Microtel has always been our go to place when we travel to Rapid. this last time everything was great but the room was not clean. the bathroom floor was disgusting and made my feet black. the bathroom was overall gross. the floor in the room wasnt vacuumed. The price, the front desk gentleman, along with everything else was fantastic.

The room cleanliness

I like the room setup. It was big and you have enough room to eat.

I didnt like the smell though. There's a old moldy like smell in our bed room which makes my wife sneeze and almost feel like having a asthma attack. Good thing there's a bed outside so she sleep outside with the kids and feel better.
