Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston - Mount Pleasant

Everyone who was working was friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean and decorated nicely. Breakfast was great. Each day we were there, we had different options. Each day, there were waffles that you can make with strawberries. There was bread, bagels, muffins, or Danish. The pastries were cooked perfectly. They were not prepackaged. Each day, you have a choice of coffee, milk, OJ, apple juice, water, hot chocolate, and tea. There were apples, bananas, yogurt, and granola also offered. One day, we had a delicious fritatta and sausage. One day, we had sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and gravy. They also offered condiments like peanut butter, jelly, syrup, hot sauce, salsa, and shredded cheese. The bed was softer than I liked but in good condition. The room, linens, and towels were clean and unstained. You have a full-size fridge and microwave that can be used, along with a small 2 burner stove top. There are also cups, plates, and silverware available for your use. If we come back to this area we will definitely stay here again.

Honestly, I didn't find a problem with anything. The people that said breakfast wasn't very good, I don't know what more they would want. It's a free breakfast, and I've only had 2 in the 50 years that I've been alive that have been better than the breakfast served here. Those 2 time's I paid significantly more for my room. I can tell you I've had many free breakfasts that were worse. I like a firmer bed, but that's a personal preference. There was no problem with the bed. The only thing that stood out was the couch and chair in the living room, and even though they were not awesome, They were acceptable. For those people saying it was dirty, I didn't see that at all. Anywhere. Some people just can't be pleased.

The location was great. You're a short drive to the beach, straight down the isle of palms connector. There's a small shopping/dining area walkable right outside the hotel with a Target, grocery store, ice cream shop, and restaurants. The cooktop, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher were excellent for a weeklong stay. Some pots and pans and silverware was included.

The whole hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. The room was clean but everything seemed to be broken, scuffed, or chipped in some way from the furnitures to the light fixtures. The bathtub had about two feel of caulking around the drain. The water pressure was terrible.

Staff was amazing. Location was great, although surprising. It's located in a strip mall/neighborhood thing. It's nice, but just surprising. Beautiful walks and restaurants and shopping all in walking distance. They had a "social" with free beer, wine, and food on Wednesday that was great!

Loud rooms! We chose here because of the quiet room reviews. We weren't as lucky. Next to the busy road, and each room has interior joining doors/rooms. I could hear every can opening and conversation on the other side of the door. Very invasive feeling. Bath rooms dated. Too expensive for what you get too.

breakfast was awful! didn’t impress us at all. Not many options and they stop serving breakfast at 9am (but STOP providing food on the bar at 8am). The few choices they provide are cold and mostly gone by 8am. Also, the staff came knocking on our doors at 9:30 with a notepad asking if we were checking out at 11. it was unexpected and unnecessary. this is the only hotel we stay in here in Isle of Palms but we might be looking elsewhere in the future due to these two issues

The location is great!! 6 min away from the beach. The neighborhood couldn't be better! With a supermarket in front, restaurants and shops around! Highly recommend!

The room we were was behind the machine room and we were not very happy about the noise sometimes we could hear. But the staff was very kind and tried to accomodate us on the best way. Nothing else to complain.

LOCATION to everything - right of IOP connector and right in the middle of shops/restaurants/spas Room was nice and had everything we needed and the mattress was super comfortable. Plenty of parking and very resort like feeling

Front staff was a little less than friendly Hotel is confusing to find front lobby/breakfast if you are not staying on that side - got so lost had to go outside and walk around but with weather it was worth it but signage is needed I wish that these "long term" hotels had ice machines - they rely on the one in the fridge but its 24 hours before you have enough ice to fill up a YETI then you have to dump it out when you leave.

This is the second time we have stayed here, and it get better each time! The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. We traveled with 2 adults and a toddler. The king suite with sofa bed is perfect for that size family with plenty of room. Location is amazing!

The bathroom in the suite is surprisingly outdated for how nice the rest of the room is. The main floor guest bathrooms were not the cleanest and trash was left sitting a few days.

The rooms were so spacious and very clean. We were traveling with our 3 year old and 1 year old boys and we had room for all of our stuff and to not feel cramped. There was a tv in the living area and a tv in the bedroom, plus a full sized fridge and mini kitchen which was amazing. The boys could eat at the table and there were dishes and silverware provided. Everything was clean. I HATE germs. This was one of the few hotel rooms I've stayed in that I felt comfortable. Usually, I won't let the kids on the couch if I don't lay a blanket down (yes, I know I'm rediculous) but I didn't feel the need to here. Also, the staff was so accomodating and went above and beyond. On the way in, I called to find the closest pharmacy. The guy who answered gave me two options, then looked up their hours for me and even offered to call them to ensure they'd be open when we arrived. So incredibly nice. Oh, and the location was fabulous. Its in this little community where you can walk to a ton of restaurants and bars and pretty much anything else you'd need (grocery stores, pharmacies, etc). Oh, and the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. They had a huge variety (cereal, yogurt, fresh made waffles, sausage, premade omelets with cheese and veggies, grits, etc), the food was hot and it was delicious. This place was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

Nothing- everything was amazing. I usually can find something to complain about but this place was beautiful and so worth the money.

The facilities are nice. The dog area is not clean or easy to get too.

They overcharged me for my stay. Sent me 2 different bills and when I called to discuss and see about my refund for the overcharge Marilyn placed blame on someone else . A manager was supposed to call me back but never heard anything 24 hours later. I have stayed at Hilton properties fo5 years and have never realt with this lack of customer service.

the staff was absolutely amazing. every person we came in contact with was kind and wonderful. the hotel was clean and looked up to date for the most part. the courtyard and pool were beautifully kept!

the bathrooms, there was no fan in the bathroom and they were all pretty dated. my sisters room had a patch in the shower like the shower wall cracked that was bizarre. other than that everything was great
