InterContinental Suites Hotel Cleveland, an IHG Hotel

The staff helped with a price match 1 of our 2 nights, gave us a room with a walk in shower for my handicapped father, brought us a shower chair and bedding for sofa sleeper. Suite had a nice kitchen area and comfortable king sized bed. Location and shuttle to Cleveland Clinic were great.

Room was a little warm, couldn't get it cooler, couldn't figure how to get a guide on the TV, sofa bed very uncomfortable,would have preferred price match on both nights, didn't care for $24 per night valet park at hotel, when opened sofa bed crumbs and a pencil under sofa, housekeeping didn't make our bed.

Everything was wonderful about our stay. We came here for a funeral. We arrived late (2a). There were people/staff onsite to welcome us EVEN a valet attendant was there to provide us with excellent service and alternate parking options for our car. We opted for the included free valet service, but it was nice to be received by a pleasant, knowledgeable valet attendant. The suite was clean and the bed was big, high off the floor and most importantly COMFORTABLE (especially after a long day of hopping buses, trains and cars trying to get here for this necessary turnaround trip). The next morning (or a few hours later) we went down to the C2 restaurant for breakfast. Our server Brittany was more than accommodating. She was pleasant, hospitable and caring. She made us feel like we were being cared for by family by constantly coming over and asking if there was anything else she could get us. When we thanked her for getting us extra napkins or a larger cup for our tea, she always did it with a smile(behind her mask) saying, “My pleasure”. Brittany helped make our stay at the Intercontinental-Cleveland (Euclid) so much more pleasant. When visiting family in Cleveland we would usually stay at a hotel in Beachwood, but now that we found this Gem so close to where our family stays, we will definitely be back again.

I was a little chilli in the bed while I slept, and my sister who had a suite across the hall could not sleep because she too was cold all night and her bed did not even have a comforter.

The front desk was so very accomodating when we arrived. He helped us Valet. He gave us the Cleveland Clinic Rate even though we purchased thru a Booking Site. We didn't get back from our apt till 10:26 - and the ladies in the Restaurant still alllowed us to help ourselves to the buffet. It was just a great short stay!

The staff was exceptional- professional, polite, informative, attentive, delivered excellent customer service. From the valet, to the front desk, to the concierge- wonderful. And made everything easy. The only thing I didn't like was I thought the breakfast was going to be plated, not buffet. During covid that made me de-select eating breakfast, though I saw several people enjoying it. I would come back to the Intercontinental time and time again. Slept great! No noise. Very clean.

HVAC-they can only run heat or A/C in the hotel (despite having individual controlled thermostats in the room) and the one day, it was warm out, but it was supposed to get cold at night so the hotel staff switched the building's system to HEAT. Our room, on the top floor, was 80 degrees (we had set the thermostat on the high 60's before we left). After coming back from a busy day at the clinic, I wasn't happy. HOWEVER, staff was great and explained why we couldn't get A/C and they brought in a portable A/C and a fan. Suggestion to hotel: upgrade your system or make modifications so that each room can be individually controlled for heat or A/C.

Location, room layout and size, included breakfast, responsiveness of staff were all good. Exercise room is beautiful.

I would have liked better guidance on breakfast options for breakfasts included in rate. Got there eventually, but my concern about whether what I got (the buffet) was covered in the room rate that specified an included breakfast made me a bit anxious. It all worked out in the end, but at one point, the cost of breakfast was on my bill. Although the valets were polite and expedient, I still prefer to park my own car. Beds were a bit too soft for my taste.

We have stayed here twice before. We asked to have the same suite we previously had and we got it. Everyone is very helpful and efficient. Michelle in the dining room is great. Michael and Joshua were very helpful.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to get an early check in. Very convenient location for Cleveland Clinic, and there is a frequent shuttle that runs from the hotel to the clinic. It was nice to have a fridge, microwave, and safe in the room. There was also a washer and dryer in the room, which we did not use, but would be great for longer stays. The hotel was quiet and comfortable.

It was kind of a pain having to valet park the car every time we went out, but the valets were very friendly.

The beds were extremely comfortable and everything in the room was clean. It was nice to order food when we got home from a concert at 12:00 am.

Teach the omelet maker to cook the veggies b4 adding to the eggs and let the cheese melt. I had a extra crunchy veggie omelet. It was bearable but not as good as it could have been.
