ice machine was great for us because we travel with a large ice chest. no freeway noise with the location. great access to eating out place within 1 mile. Walmart across the street for buying food and snacks. Longhorn Steak House 1/4 mile access and a excellent place to eat dinner.

I was not told the hotel was under remodeling when making reservations. Most areas were clean but worn furniture and carpet BUT clean. Our toilet was broke at the base and we had to be careful using it, flooring tile broke in a few place so be careful with sharp ends when barefoot.

Members of the staff were very cordial and pleasant. The room was quite adequate and comfortable. Parking was convenient. The location was great for numerous restaurant options as well as an easy route to get in town via Wendover Avenue to UNCG and other local destinations. Although this Booking .com review form states that I requested a quiet room & wondered if we got it, I did not request a quiet room. I requested a standalone shower instead of a shower inside a bath tub (if possible), and that was neither addressed nor fulfilled. I assumed that they did not have a room with a standalone shower. The room was quiet, which we appreciated, but that was not the special request.

The "breakfast" was very sparse. We wound up going to a restaurant to get an adequate breakfast.

Very clean and staff was positive even when I came in and smoke alarm was going off they gave me battery I guess maintenance had gone for the day by 4pm but no problem

Nothing everything was great

I really appreciated the customer service we received by the day shift staff. Especially a young man who took care of us during our stay. He greeted us everyday with a hello and also asked about our room and stay. He fixed any issues we had with no hesitation.

I wish there could be fruit, peanut butter and jelly offered at breakfast.

Due to Covid, the breakfast was different of course. Missed getting to get a waffle! Staff was lovely and we would love to stay at the Wingate again! My brother lives in Greensboro so we will be back!

Not sure what's going on with all the shopping carts littering the streets, there was even one in the bushes at Wingate. I know homeless people need them for their stuff but hopefully the city can work towards some more homeless accommodations or shelters. There were MANY all over the Wendover Rd and Landmark Center Blvd area. My heart goes out to them.

The location was great. The room was clean, although I had to kill a roach in the bathroom. It was a tranquil and peaceful stay. Check-in and out were easy, and the host was amicable and well-mannered.

I couldn't connect to the wifi. The beds were a little too hard; a softer but firm mattress would have been more comfortable. Adding laundry bags to the rooms would be great to put dirty clothes in. The price was reasonable.

The location is wonderful. It is surrounded by restaurants and lots of shopping, all within walking distance if one wants to venture out that way. The staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable about what is where.

There are cosmetic upgrades that are needed like some furniture is mildly damaged and bathroom toilets could use better seats. The cheap seats move around while you sit on them.

The staff were super nice, all around. The staff made sure that the customers were happy and gave directions to many places.

The smoke alarm battery was low and the smoke alarm let me know all night. I notified the staff in the morning and afternoon that the alarm battery needed to be changed. When I arrived at my room that night, it hadn't been changed. I just pulled it off the ceiling and removed the battery.

The staff was very friendly. Check in was easy. The room was clean. The beds was extra comfortable. It was family friendly. The location was great.

Nothing to do with the hotel but there was a group that gathered in another lot that was noisy with cars and bikes. Police came and cleared that out.

Friendly staff, clean room

The breakfast is very poor.The hotel is clean. But my two nights were sleepless. The noise from the street and neighbors was unbearable!!! The doors in the room do not close tightly, also the walls are thin and you can hear very loudly! We rent on weekends, which means noisy companies… If you come for business reasons and you need to relax, this hotel is not for you!
