Hampton Inn Benson

The ladies from the breakfast staff were wonderful, very friendly, and customer service oriented. They did a good job! The cleaning staff and maintenance staff does a good job as well, as the room was in optimal condition.

The front desk team needs to improve customer service and deliver equal service to all guests. They should acknowledge all guests equally and say good morning, good afternoon and make eye contact. The front desk really needs further training, from evening to day staff. I felt discriminated, they did not say hi to me once.

Needed a room for the night while traveling. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room/hotel were very clean and well maintained. The only negative is that late at night my son went to the front desk to buy a drink from the 24 hour market and he could not get one. He went extremely thirsty all night as they refused to take a cash payment. He did not know that he could have asked them to charge it to the room and the front desk clerk didn’t inform him of that.

The property was very good the facilities were nice the staff was very good The property had things I had never before they went out of the to make a guest feel welcome. There was arts and craft area with paint available for both adults and kids The outside deck area was very nice They had local farm goods from the surrounding area for sale that were very good. While I don't have any dogs there is a dog park next door. This by far was one of my best Hampton inn stays in a very long time. I would hope that hilton would use this property as a flagship and hold the rest of their properties to such a good standard

The Hampton Inn at Benson is a great family friendly and pet friendly hotel. The pool areas, lobby, and breakfast areas are very nice. The rooms were big and spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The hotel is easily accessible and has a dog park next door. In addition, there are several good restaurants in the area. We would definitely consider staying again in the future. The breakfast was one of the best complimentary breakfasts that we have had while on the road.

The water pressure in the shower was low. The rooms were sterile feeling and so large that they felt empty and cold. A little more effort should be made to make them feel more homey. The front desk staff was a young person who was more concerned about her procedures than accommodating customers. Sadly, that is becoming more and more common these days. She needs to be trained to always put the customer first. She was able to accommodate my needs but it had to be in the manner that was most convenient to her, and she made it very clear that she was not going out of her way to help me.

Clean sheets, bathroom and our room overall. Loved seeing all the cute pups as it's pet friendly and there's a dog park right next door. Made me mad at my husband for not letting me bring our dog! Lol! Breakfast had a good variety..oatmeal, Waffle station, cold cereal, potatoes, sausage, fresh-pressed juices, muffins, fruit. We got to breakfast just after 10am as the woman was about to close up but allowed us time to serve ourselves and she was super friendly about it. Pool was great and loved that the pool towels were a decent quality and a cute stripe teal color, not just thin and cheap like we usually see. There's even an outdoor TV area with nice lounge furniture under an adorable pergola with space heater, if needed, for gathering.

Honestly the only complaint was from my 7 year old. She wanted a tub to use a bath bomb she bought down the street at Walgreen's! But that wouldn't stop us from staying here again!

We were there for a wedding and when we needed a private space to meet with the bride and groom prior to the wedding, they opened the board room for us. Super great staff. You just have to ask and they will make it happen. Comfortable room. Well worth the money.

The facilities are bright, clean and attractive at first glance. The parking lots are very well lit. Plenty of safe walking areas. Doorways are secured and monitored via camera.

There is nothing I disliked about this property. The only reason I did not give an exceptional grade for cleanliness is that housekeeping were not as meticulous in cleaning our bathroom as they were the rest of the room.

Clean and pet friendly. Large dog park close by. Also restaurants within walking distance.

Highway noise and flat pillows.

The suite was very confortable. Well designed. The hotel seemed recently renovated or built. Loved the extra sink in the bar area of the room. I recommend this type of room. The price is very good too.

As a light sleeper, I would NOT accept this suite again. It was on the side of the highway. So I heard the traffic all night, on and off. The receptionist told me they were fully booked so I couldn’t change, but the next morning I noticed many rooms on our floor still had the Cleaned sticker intact and it was 7AM. So I am left with an impression that she didn’t tell me the truth.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and very well equipped for the enjoyment of our pets.

A noise coming from some sore of industrial machine. I wasn’t sure if it was coming from the laundry room, AC system or what but interrupt our sleep other than that the hotel has great accommodations
