Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Asheville Tunnel Road

Location was perfect! Close to downtown and major interstates. Danny R., who worked at the front desk, was amazing! Always had a great attitude, consistently well-mannered, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and very spacious (plenty of walking room around beds, between TV and beds, and in bathroom). Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. Food was continuously replenished throughout breakfast hours.

Closet space was very small - a 16"-wide wardrobe to hang clothes.

Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, & the shower was my favorite. We also enjoyed the hot tub! Staff were very friendly also!

I only get to see my Sister maybe once a year. She lives in Florida & I live in New York. We both drove about 11 hrs to get there so we were really excited to see each other. We were very disappointed to find out we were not on the same floor. I called a few months ahead to make sure we would be.

It was close to everything we wanted to do. ALL of the staff (front of the hotel as well as cleaning staff) were very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is just past a hill on a busy road. Sometimes it was hard to get in and out of the property. I wish it had been on a quieter road, but other than that, everything was wonderful.

The room was clean, as was everything else that I encountered. The breakfast had a good variety of foods and was well stocked. The staff was friendly, very efficient, and professional. There was nothing that would deter me from recommending the hotel to anyone wanting an excellent hotel at a good price.

Everything was good. There was nothing that I could see that could have been done any better.

The location was great, the breakfast was great, the room was great and was the right size and clean, we enjoyed the whole trip, which we had never been there before.

Wish we could have had a balcony and from Tennessee we use to having bacon for breakfast, but we had a ball and met a lot of people at the Biltmore Estate and took the city tour, we will come back again.

We LOVED everything about this hotel!! From the politeness and helpfulness of every employee we encounter from making our reservation over the phone, to spending a couple of days at this hotel, to the beauty and cleanliness all around and a very complete and delicious breakfast, we will definitely be back!

Nothing we didn’t like.

Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, and the breakfast was as one might expect. Facilities were all well kept and clean, hotel felt very fresh. Enjoyed ability to purchase wine at the market, and enjoy with wine glasses on the patio. Neighboring restaurant just up the street has great meals and service, plus a sub shop walking distance from hotel.

The elevator makes a funny noise when you ride it which isn't too comforting.

Breakfast was really great! I liked the variety and that a hot breakfast was offered. Loved those mini scones! Our room was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. I loved the bathroom with the glass doors on the shower! It was nice that the shower controls were on the other side of the stall so you wouldn't get wet while adjusting the water temperature!

I don't think there was anything I didn't like.

This hotel management and staff greeted us warmly and went above and beyond during our three-day stay. Personal touches of candy and a card in our free upgrade, gifted by management for our anniversary. We felt special. Housekeeping members were friendly, helpful, and did an awesome job in keeping the common areas clean. They were hard at work all day, every day and always with a smile. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel for all it offers its guess. We stayed on the sixth floor in a modern king suite and had a great view. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. Short drive to downtown, arboretum, and The Biltmore.

Breakfast was good - liked omelets already made! Room was nice and spacious - good shower! Best was the desk staff! They gave us suggestions of places we could go walking (trails) even printed a map with directions!! Very warm and accomodating - this is a definite plus for you!
