Budget Inn

Check-in was quick and easy, and the person who helped me assigned me a room in a quieter part of the building when I mentioned I was a light sleeper. The room was very clean. The bed was great, large and comfortable. I worked for several hours at the desk in the room, and the wifi was great. The tub was a little too small for a bath (my legs are long!) but the shower worked well, got hot quickly, no issues at all. The mini-fridge was actually pretty big and the microwave worked well. The room was nice and cozy, it had everything I needed and nothing I didn't!

I know the motel is under renovations - I wonder if they're working on the HVAC system? It seems like the only heat in the room was a little space heater. I was concerned when I arrived because the room was kind of chilly, but it warmed up nicely. Not a problem at all at this time of year, and hopefully it's all fixed up before it gets cold again.

Well cared for older hotel. Room was totally renovated. Freshly painted. New bathroom. Very clean. Hotel sits up on a hill is impressive with wrap around front porch. The owners were very kind.

The owner, Yogi, was excellent. He went up and beyond as he welcomed us and gave credit to me. I explained that someone tried to still my VISA account and would need a day to straighten things out with my Credit Union. On my word, he accepted my condition and we actually stayed one extra day because of how nice he is. Along with his family. Not many in today's world would give a person such trust and welcome. Hope the best for them as they restore an old building to a clean and welcoming hotel.

Can't think of one thing

Location was good right next to highway for easy access. The hotel is old and could use some updating, but the rooms were very clean. The room had a ceiling fan which was nice since it wasn't really warm enough for air conditioning, it kept the room comfortable. We had an issue with a faucet and it was fixed immediately. The staff was very nice.

I travel to this location frequently for work, The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is comfortable and pleasant. They even provided a courtesy call to let us know that the weather in the area had dropped and for us to come prepared for the colder weather.

The staff was welcoming (:We were expecting you.". The room was clean. I had everything that I needed and it was MUCH BETTER than the Days Inn in town where I'd stayed last summer

The outside appearance wasn't impressive, but you can't judge a book by its cover

This was the cleanest 1 Star hotel ever, much nicer and much cleaner than many 3 star hotels I’ve stayed. Yogi and his family are incredibly helpful and observant of your needs. You won’t be disappointed staying here, a real gem.

The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable beyond our expectations. There were no frills but for the price, we couldn't have been more satisfied.

I wasn't aware of any breakfast!(not mentioned) Room very clean!! Bathroom very clean!! Internet was great!

My first thought was the front door knob was going to break off but once inside I secured with deadbolt! I noticed a little heater for the size of the room this was inadequate. 14 degrees outside door entrance with no hallway entrance to room. Overall, I would stay here again! Bring my Mr buddy heater with me though.

If you’re looking for a comfortable place to sleep that is clean and convenient this is the place to go. The staff is professional and courteous.
