Absolutely love the town of Honesdale! Friendly people, great places to eat, and a lot of things to see & do in and around town. Truth be told, the best part of the stay at Wayne on main is the Property Manager Sue. This may sound crazy but if you meet her and stay there you will understand why. I have spoken to many other guests during our visits and they all say the same thing. We come back time after time to experience the comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality that Sue provides all of the guests. Not to mention the friendship. We are visiting a friend when we stay at the Wayne on Main. This was our 5th visit in a year, if that doesn't say it all. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great location; walking distance to downtown on Main Street. Charming Victorian house. Rooms all on second floor. Breakfast served every morning. Innkeeper hard-working and accommodating.

No A/C in rooms. Not all wiring up to code. Bathroom cramped. TV placed in room so in away that was not useful. We were in #5.

We were traveling as a family of four so we got the whole 3rd floor of the lovely Wayne on Main Victorian house to ourselves! Three bedrooms, 4 beds, private bathroom, plus a sitting room with sofas to watch TV! Very roomy with comfy beds. We were disappointed that we didn't get to experience Suzy's famous buffet breakfast because she had to curtail it due to Covid, but she sure did a great job of trying to make up for it! Every day, all day, there was coffee, tea, juice, water, fresh pastries, fruit, donuts, bagels, snacks, and more snacks to partake in. Additionally, in the mornings there was yogurt, cereal, milk and more. Great location too – easy walk into town and restaurants.

I've never stayed at a B&B and had an idealized concept. This exceeded expectations. From the friendly confirmation call to our gracious welcome l was immediately comfortable. The house is quaint and adorable , filled with pleasant people but surprisingly peaceful . Breakfast was fantastic and Sue is t h e quintessential hostess. An absolute delight!

The breakfast was great! Unlike other B&Bs, Suzy did not have a preset menu but took requests and was nothing short of a great short order cook. Everything was tasty and fresh. She had great variety of options for breakfast.

Nothing could have been better. The location was great and down the street from many restaurants and attractions.

Or 3rd time staying here in the last year. Great Inn, very nice town, good value. Why have we stay here so often and already are booking our summer trip? In a word, Sue the Property Manager. In over 40 years of travelling have I never seen anyone so dedicated to insuring that their guests are so well cared for and enjoy their stay. With every trip Sue really becomes more like a part of our family. You owe it to yourself stay here. Such a wonderful place to stay in a great town. Very relaxing atmosphere and you will be well cared for by Sue! You will see us again soon!

Where should I start? 1st the owner is a wonderfully pleasant and delightful woman! The atmosphere of the place is just as grand as Suzy (the manager). I felt like I was the most important person in the world! When staying at this bed and breakfast you are made to feel like family, not just any family, but the family that they like and want to have around! Breakfast choices are pretty much limitless! I was able to get items that I couldn't even get at a major diner! Needless to say, I am very pleased with this choice and will definitely return again!

There wasn't a single thing I didn't like.

The reception was fantastic .The look and feel was good The room I took was nice, the beds very confortables..

The shower and the bathroom were small and can be improved . The breakfast was fine

11 out of 10 stars! Just had our 4th visit in a year. My Family loves the Wayne on Main & the town of Honesdale! Sue the Property Manager gets 12 out of 10 stars! Think I've said it all in my previous reviews. You owe it to yourself to check this place out. We are always so sad to leave and will be back again real soon.

Cool older house with interesting Nicknacks. Gas fireplace in the lobby. Lady in charge made every effort to make our stay enjoyable.
