El Monte Sagrado Resort & Spa

Beautiful grounds around the main area, pond, tree-lined. Very peaceful and serene. Yoga with Alana was awesome. She is the kindest, sweetest person! The valet team were all amazing and helpful!

Rooms are dark - western Gothic. The mountain room we were initially given was in obvious disrepair. Torn curtains (holes) that don’t close, missing picture over the fireplace - hook and shadow of the picture still evident. Clearly sends a message that there is an element of leadership and caring that is missing from management. Spent the initial two hours of our stay moving around rooms till we were finally installed in a lovely room. The place was far from full so these shenanigans were wholly unnecessary and diminished our stay

Relaxing in the mountains of the high desert starts here! Our favorite thing about this resort is the property itself and the Spa. One of the top spas in the US, it is boutique meaning it does not book a lot of people at once and therefore you have a personal experience. We had incredible treatments two days of the 4 we stayed. The saltwater indoor pool is a dream - space is We stayed in the two bedroom suite “China” which had that theme. It was comfortable with two king beds, giant bathtubs and a living/dining area. As two friends traveling together it was great having our own space. Room was quiet and clean. Plenty of pillows and towels, complementary slippers too! Highly recommend staying during the week if looking for peace and quiet as weddings and wedding parties can happen over the weekends. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and responsive!

Very minor issues - no microwave but a fridge in the room, couch in living area has definitely seen better days and needs replacing. Restaurant on site is a bit pricey but has great food!

hot tub was down almost the entire span of our stay so we did not get to enjoy it. that was one of the main reasons for booking at this hotel. when asked manager Tori to remedy the situation she did refund the $25 amenity fee for one night. she also was not very nice during the conversation. she did not take responsibility for the inconvenience and instead just kept saying it was beyond her control. it wasn’t until we asked how she would make it right did she offer to refund the mere $25. it is a very nice hotel but not exactly worth the expensive price.

Very beautiful property. Easy to access location.

Their standard guest parking was full so our only option was valet. I really don't like to use valet as I have auto start and like to be able to prestart my car when I am ready. Plus, we did Christmas there and wanted to load our gifts into the car but couldn't access it The morning we went to get our car, the only person working valet was off helping people with luggage. We only had to wait about 15 min, but I was on my way to work so the 15 min made a huge difference.

The room was quite large. Quiet. Outside patio to enjoy. Very large 2-person soaking tub and separate shower. Separate toilet area. Nice smelling amenities. Comfortable beds. Easy access to the room. Breakfast was not included in our stay, but we did enjoy a lovely breakfast in the atrium room. Drinks in the Anaconda bar were great. Great service. Friendly staff all around.

What's not to like? Everything was perfect.

it’s so peaceful and quiet and the grounds are awesome, not to mention the staff was amazing all around, especially the valet team and the gal at the gift shop. the soaking tub in the room was pretty cool too, and there is even a magnifying mirror at the vanity and floor length mirror in the room which should be staples at any hotel, but disappointingly, are not.

no microwave in the room to heat up my chai or snacks I had brought.

Room was awsome. Anything we asked for was dellivered to the room. People that worked there were happy and nice to talk to. Glad we upgraded to a better room by the koa pond .

Air conditioning poor. No ice machines. Add mexican food to the menu. Entertanment on the weekends would be profitable for the bar and everyone staying there would enjoy it.

Stunning location. Eleven beautiful acres to explore. VERY quite. The Native American suite had a separate bedroom, exceptional bath, lovely living room with gas fireplace, outside balcony overlooking a pond.

Lots of little items required multiple trips and/or calls to the lobby. Room temperature adjustment and how to work the small valuables safe that did not have instructions could not be resolved with a simple phone call but needed an “engineer” to come to the room. We picked up our Grab and Go breakfast in the lobby. We ordered French Toast, a Breakfast Burrito, one cup of coffee and a “large” orange juice. The food was good but it was served in plastic containers with paper and plastic cups. NO eating utensils were included and the requested ceramic coffee mugs were not given and required another trip to the lobby. Total for the breakfast: $55.00 (including a 10% tip)😕

El Monte Segrado is an absolutely beautiful resort with breathtaking scenery and friendly, professional and accommodating staff. Check in was swift and easy, we were walked to our room and offered a tour of the facilities. Wow!! Everyone here seems to take great pride in what they offer. Quiet, peaceful and serene. A place of many blessings for sure. Great restaurant recommendations and an overall wonderful visit. I HIGHLY recommend El Monte Segrado. 💖🌈💛

Sadly, the restaurant and bar were not open on the days we were here, but they did provide a Grab and Go Breakfast.

Most excellent breakfasts!!! Our dinner was also good quality and tastie. I thought the staff was the best. Genuine and friendly. The grounds were lovely. The light fixtures and decor were gorgeous.

Room service plates and trays left in the hall too long. Yucky
