Comfort Inn Gallup I-40 Exit 20

Although it is a rather old building and the bathroom could use an update (no countertop, just a tv tray), the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the lobby area is welcoming. The pool was clean and refreshing. Having lemon ice water in a large glass dispenser was such a great feature, after having made a long 8-hour car trip.

It would be a nice feature to have a small bathroom/dressing room inside the pool area.

The breakfast was good. But they closed the coffee area at 9am also, they let my husband in to get more coffee. The room was very large with a couch and chair. The bathroom was large also. It seemed pretty clean although a little dated.

It could have been updated. The coffee could be more accessible after 9am.

We stayed 2 nights. It was comfortable and the staff was very courteous and very polite. The room we got was very comfortable and very spacious. We even got a courtesy call from the front desk to see if we had settled in okay. I like that they were checking on our comfort. We really enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely stay there again.

After the first night, our trash wasn't taken out the next day and the trash cans were very small so needless to say the trash cans got very full. We ran out of tissue, but other than that it was definitely a wonderful 2 days and 2 nights there.

Ac, fridge, beds and bathroom were good. Got two rooms here. Second room was better because there was no dirty underwear in the room.

Everything was great except I found a pair of someone's dirty underwear under neath the chair after my brother moved the chair. I picked them up and threw them in the trash. Not blaming the cleaning staff because they were under the chair and I don't expect them to lift a chair just incase. And wifi was not great, it works but was slow at times.

Cleanliness. Friendly and welcoming staff. Hot water was available right away in 29⁰ weather outside. Room was warm even with the heater off all night. I'm pretty satisfied.

Coffee maker in the restroom with teabags that had gotten damp, possibly from steaming hot shower, and then dried. No hot breakfast as posted but understandable with current world status. But we were given a sack for breakfast. It contained OJ, granola bar, muffin, and an apple..

The ironing board was broken it kept folding on me while I was trying to iron my husband's shirt. I called the front desk and was given another one but it wouldn't fold to put it away. But I did notify the front desk when I was checking out.

Hotel was very clean, cleaner than many others of the same price. Night front desk staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection pretty good and staff very attentive to stocking and keeping the eating area clean. Beds were super comfortable.

My room needed some repairs. The texture on the ceiling had been repaired, but did not match the rest of the ceiling. Also ceiling needed painted with the same color as the rest of the ceiling.

I liked the convienence of where it was located and it was in a nice area. I would stay there again. It had enough room and was very comfortable to spend the night. The staff was very friendly and professional.

There was nothing I did not like about it.
