Best Western Big Spring Lodge

The breakfast offered was beyond what I expected. Hot items were offered along with the usual continental style items The breakfast room was conveniently located and staff were nearby to assist in answering questions.. We appreciated the range of television stations offered - more than what we are used to at larger brand properties. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful - even having cookies available in the evening!

The washroom area in our room showed wear - some mold and peeling wallpaper was present. Otherwise, the room was very clean.

Very easy to access, well lit at night, lots is parking space, very safe location.

Got a rollaway bed for our daughter. I am not exaggerating when I say that the mattress was barely 3" tall. We asked for a different one or at least another mattress to put on top of it and unfortunately, the housekeepers were the only ones with keys and it was late at night and they weren't there.

Bed was extremely comfortable and it looks like everything was new or recently updated. (See last part of dislike comments) desk staff handled an issue excellently:-)

Pool closed all day for potential bad weather in area. Understandable but a bit annoying since the weather didn’t start till late in day. The bathtub spout was separated from wall of shower (insufficient quality in workmanship). Also the people on floor above us was pounding at all hours. Started at 9 pm, finally stopped around 11:30 to be awoken again at 12:30. Called front desk finally since we had to sleep and she handled it quickly & efficiently. It doesn’t appear that walls were thin, just a huge lack of quality in some guests! Guess you have to expect that now days.

We stayed at this hotel prior to dropping our youngster off at college. A great quite location with ample parking. The breakfast was excellent and very near to a variety of shops for last minute college purchases.

It was very nice for the one night we stayed. The shower had excellent pressure, and the bed was very comfortable.

If I had any complaints about our stay, it would be that it sounded like there was a giant in the room above us....

location is in a good location. It is near the Hwy and very near eating and shopping. The hotel was clean and smelled clean. the staff is VERY nice and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

We travel often, and usually stay at typical value hotels. I couldn’t find anything to complain about.

The hotel and room was very clean. Exceptional!!

I traveled with my elderly mother and she was not able to get into the bed without the assistance of a chair. The mattress was too high off the floor. A step stool would have been very helpful.

The bed was very comfortable. The executive room was very spacious. Breakfast was great! Hot and ready each morning.

Have no complaints. All eas good.

beds were too hard. when you showered, the curtain is garbage- leaked water all over the floors. needs to be lowered and add another curtain that doesn’t soak when wet.
