Econo Lodge Anderson

most of the staff were friendly. property was clean. nice little pool. great location. breakfast was on the smaller side but served more than what we expected, had a nice waffle maker and biscuits and gravy along with muffins and toast.

the room we had was a queen but the beds were on the small side.

We go every year to the River and we stay at Econo Lodge instead of camping. The staff is always so friendly. Ty the front desk personnel is amazing!!! The place is quiet at night. I def recommend for a short stay

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was great for just a quick stop over after a day with family at local Rivers. Had individual AC unit in the room.

It’s a basic hotel. Nothing fancy but I had no complaints

The staff were friendly and helpful, very polite. The room was clean, sheets and blankets were freshly washed. The pool was extra nice, the sundeck was beautiful.

No elevator, but that wasn't so bad.

Check in was awesome and really set the tone for our visit there- Ajay gave us the rundown on how things worked at the lodge-filled us in on the amenities of all the stores next door to us-the 24 hour store next door was a plus and gas station next door- really nice and convenient! Ajay was also friendly, had a sense of humor and always ask each time we went through the lobby (as well as all the staff) how things were and if we needed anything. I liked that, you never had to look for someone- there was always a member of the staff visible and making sure things were going well with our stay! Breakfast was a, “10” ! We had two kinds of muffins to choose from, waffles, biscuits, gravy, juices. Coffee was available 24/7. Tables were spaced appropriately, Guest observing the 6 foot social distancing while at breakfast. Never a line. Well done!! This may sound pretty standard but.... The casino we stayed in the day before-we got a muffin and granola bar in a paper sack at check in. The lady said “Due to Covid-they were not serving breakfast.” This phrase seems to be the go to these days for paying more and getting less... we paid twice as much to stay there😕 OKC.... again-we paid twice what we did at Econo Lodge and still didn’t get breakfast! Actually they were selling breakfast separately-for an extra $10 they had scrambled eggs toast and either a piece of bacon or sausage in a Styrofoam container. The same location they were selling the “ToGo” breakfast”, you could still sit and eat in dining area, ridiculous 😠. So way to go Econolodge in Anderson! You did breakfast well, Guest had a variety and it was done safely!

This Econolodge met all of our needs. The bed was comfortable, The room was clean, we were offered room service (fresh towels and room clean) we didn’t have to ask . The only thing that bugged me was coming in and out of the front door-The trashcan to the right needed to be emptied- it was full of trash and had an empty 6 pack of beer bottles on top of it. In their defense, I think it was just overlooked because you always saw someone cleaning something. And I guess if it really bugged me that bad I could’ve said something:)

the First Lady that was there at check in was the absolute sweetest.

the lady there on Thursday morning told us if we spilled syrup we had to clean it ourselves bc she already cleaned another guests up.

The staff made checking in and out a smooth and easy process. It was VERY clean. Breakfast was decent. Parking availability was good. Good location. Definitely would stay there again.

The noise wasn't terrible but hard to sleep because you could literally hear everything.

Liked the hardwood floors. The bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom was small. The air conditioning was a little on the noisy side.

Great friendly staff, that worked with us and helped us to be able to get a room. Would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay at one.

My family and I spend our weekend there for our trip and we liked it. The staffs are very kind and friendly. When you need something or need help their their to help. It's small but cozy. Our loved it.
