Pear Tree Inn Cape Girardeau West

The staff was good and were very kind in getting a bag of clothes that I had forgotten, sent to me. McDonalds was close by to get breakfast. Even though I was on the first floor and close to the front lobby, the facility was quiet except for one night.

The entire facility is a bit worn. breakfast was crappy, as are most hotel breakfasts. the sausage was grey. But the coffee was hot and the Jiff peanut butter cups were fine. If you are going to provide a cooked breakfast, at least make it look good.

I didn't get to try the breakfast but my daughter did. She said that it was nice but wished there was some hot food options. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was full but our room was quiet the entire weekend. We commented multiple times about how we didn't hear any noise from other rooms or the hallway.

A hot breakfast option would be great. The room rates were very high due to high demand for a sports event in town. The room was nice but I wouldn't pay that much to stay here if I had other options with a pool and hot breakfast.

I loved the location! Close to highway, shopping and restaurants! Also, the service staff was amazing!! So nice and helpful! To name a few, "Catee(I hope I spelled her name correctly! If not , I sure hope you know who she is! She checked me in!) and Ali at front desk! Megan who cleaned our room, was very pleasant and did an awesome job! The room was a great size and the bathroom was a great size as well!

From Ummm, really the same thing as usual the past 2-3 years..."Covid protecols", would have loved the room cleaned everyday (we were there 3 nights) but it was OK getting towels from the front desk or from Megan in the hallway...but that was all that I didn't like , and that wasn't bad!!

Very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location. Had small refreshments in lobby as you enter. Showers were nice, great water spray and very hot, we never ran cold. Room was very comfy and neat also. Everything worked great.

Could have had a few more tv channels, I am a big movie watcher, but what they had was ok. The breakfast was good for quick eats, fruit, cereal, waffles, but wish they would add the extra hot items like the eggs, meats, biscuits.

Our room was not as pictured. Showed deluxe queen quadruple room had sofa sitting area in room. Our room did not. Only two queen beds, desk & office chair and a little chair in corner. It did have a little fridge, microwave & coffee maker. Just dissappointed no comfortable sitting area as pictured. Our room keys got deactivated while at hospital for tests and Doctor appointments. Upon arrival back to hotel our door keys wouldnt open side door so we had to walk around to front entrance and had to get a different one to access our room.

Hotel was conveniently located right off interstate 55. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Carpeting appeared to be new. The staff was extremely friendly.

Fire alarm went off at 6am:( it rang for several minutes, but ended up being a false alarm. Thankfully we were able to get back to sleep.

Didn't eat the breakfast (needed hot one with protein). Location was good for the volleyball tournament and various restaurants.

We were given a handicap accessible room (which was fine), but having a regular tub instead of a walk/roll-in shower doesn't make it accessible (y brother is in a wheelchair). All the bars in the tub area don't help if an elderly person can't lift their legs high enough to get in the tub. You should really take the tub out.

Location was very convenient. The breakfast was more than adequate for our needs. We especially like the make your own waffles. Fresh fruit is a must for us. Coffee available when we arrived was appreciated.

It would be nice to have black out curtains in the rooms There was bright lights shining in both rooms that we used this month. The lights are great in the parking lots but not so good shining in our room.

Great front desk service, quick checking. The lovely woman who hosts the breakfast is so friendly and helpful. Location is great close to many restaurants and shopping, several in walking distance. I always stay here when I visit family. It is so very clean and comfortable. Thank you all. I highly recommend this location

The only thing I don't like here are the pillows. They look so soft and fluffy but they go completely flat as soon as you lay down. I love this hotel and staff so, I just bring my own pillows.

it was a beautiful property that you could tell the employees took great pride in. We were impressed to see them pulling the air units out into the parking lot and pressure washing them to make sure that they were the cleanest that they could be.

if I had one complaint it would be that there were no eggs or sausage/bacon on the continental breakfast.
