Location is great for TD Garden events. Reception staff very friendly. Room was clean, shower/water pressure was perfect and the shower gel provided was very nice. Decor was modern but cozy.

Restaurant/bar closed at 10 pm. With all the events at the Garden, surely there are enough visitors to justify later hours. Also, it felt like the A/C was on the entire night-we were quite cold. The lighting in the room, while cool for ambiance, was not good for getting ready (women are always going to prep by the full-length mirror, NOT in the bathroom!). It would have been nice if to-go type cups with lids were offered by the coffee maker instead/in addition to mugs. I hate cold coffee and didn't bother making it because I knew it would be cold within minutes. Would have been nice to make it and take it with me for the day. Also, not sure why only one bathrobe was provided when most bookings are based on double occupancy.

The building is pretty, the location is nice and convenient, and the staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and stylish. The L'occitane toiletries were an unexpected and welcome touch!

The elevator is extremely slow and we generally opted to take the stairs. The room fee included a $20 voucher for the hotel restaurant / room service, which was not transparent until check in. We stayed for such a short time that, given the chance, we would have opted not to include this fee. It’s hard to tell what is good value for money in Boston, as hotel prices are high. However, for a short stay, we were quite pleased with our stay at The Boxer.

My flight was cancelled twice and Rose was amazing! So friendly and helpful, even making a new eDoc and emailing it to me as the original didn't arrive and I required it for my claim with the airline. Thank you so much Rose! The overall service was great. I loved the complimentary fruit drinks in reception and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and sensibly priced. On top of that there was a $20 rebate! All of this made my enforced 48 hr stay over in Boston so much more enjoyable than it could have been...the airline could learn a lot from you guys! Thank you!! 😃

Nothing!!

Bedroom was very comfortable. While we didnt use the restaurant or shower due to short stay everything looked good. 2 complimentary waters. $20 dining credit as well. Parking for us was free in the garage which was a shorter walk than I expected. I think only free if less than 24 hours however.

The parking could have been explained better. It was not explained to scan the barcode upon exiting when everything said to prepay before exiting it was confusing. We also woke to barking dogs. I’m not mad its a pet friendly hotel but something to keep in mind when booking.

The room had a big picture window with a great view of the city streets. The bed was comfortable, as described. We enjoyed the in-room coffee, and the in-room small fridge.

The hotel restaurant only had one person providing breakfast service on a busy Saturday morning. Inside the room I found the bathroom vanity was too high for a person of average height to use comfortably, well over 3 feet high. And because we often travel off-season, we have winter coats with us and we would love to see more hooks to hang coats near the door, the small clothing rack did not have enough room.

We stayed here to attend a concert in TD Gardens. It was very convenient to stadium. Close to other tourist areas in Boston. Easily accessible to public transport, the T, or easily reached by walking. The staff were friendly and attentive and were very helpful. Breakfast was good and service good. Rooms are functional and housekeeping was available everyday, toiletries were of a high standard.

They had an issue with hot water when we stayed, but they acknowledged problem and compensated us for the problem.

The staff was extremely helpful in getting our luggage into the hotel and up to our room on the elevator. The hotel is well-decorated in clean masculine colors. We stayed in an "accessible" room, which was large with an extra-large bathroom. The shower had great grab-bars and a fold-down bench that we found very helpful. The bathroom was well-lit and all the extras (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shoe-shine kit, sewing kit, etc.) were provided. There was a desk with plenty of outlets nearby (but no USB port). There was a mini-refrigerator with minibar. There was one umbrella. The hotel is a 12-minute walk from Mass. General.

Only minor touches: more facial tissues in the bathroom; two umbrellas instead of one. And a USB port or two at the desk

Proximity to TD Garden was fantastic, staff was welcoming and offered a glass of sparkling wine. The room and bathroom was on the smaller side, but well equipped and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, nice L'Occitane products in the bathroom, mini fridge.

The bathroom door was very stiff and hard to roll on the track. The window shade was kind of a pain to move up and down. Some noise from the hallway and street, but not problematic. Parking garage was a little walk away.

The boxer hotel is elegant, clean, quiet and confortable. The room and bathroom are quite big, new, and nicely decorated. Free coffee is provided in the rooms and cleaning upon request. A bike service is available. The price, though high, is in line with the standards in Boston, and indeed the Boxer is cheaper compared to other locations I visited, which were more shabby. Overall, a very nice stay.

Overall I had a great experience with no significant problems. I only had a minor problem with booking the taxi, so I recommend the receptionists to be more attentive. Indeed, I asked in the early morning and they told me it was not possible to book and I had to be there 30 minutes ahead of the desired time in order to call it. When I did, they told me I should have booked, but they could call a taxi for me in 15 minutes. In spite of me being in front of them, they forgot to call. When I asked if the taxi had arrived they remembered, but at this time it got very difficult and took other 15-20 minutes to book one. At the end, the taxi did not arrive. Not a huge deal, but can be quite stressful if you have a flight to catch.

Very nice building, totally refurbished, don't let the monstrous building across the street put you off, it's in walking distance to all nice sights. Rooms are small if you are 1 family, next time we book 2 connected rooms. Beds are good, big bathroom, breakfast is very good, staff was great. Oh and finally an AC that works silently and could be adjusted. Spot on!

Small room and the cupboards should mimic the art deco style but are way to big and filling up too much space. (at least in our room.) We would have appreciated some free water in the room.
