Residence Inn by Marriott Ocean City

Very easy to find and great location on the bay. Complimentary breakfast every morning was quite convenient and having a kitchen in the room made lunch/dinner easier than having to eat out every day. There's a bar next to the outdoor pool which my girlfriend was ecstatic about!

When we booked our room, there was 2 options for the same exact room, one stated that breakfast was NOT included and one option stated that breakfast was included at a higher rate. Turns out that breakfast is included with any room selection so we paid for the more expensive rate for no reason!

indoor pool small, breakfast was not the best but free and edible the heat didn’t work and told staff didn’t get fixed .

Great location. Easy access to the beach. Nice outdoor pool and pool bar. Nice grilling area for barbequing. Full bar in the lobby as well. The suites are Huge! Nice walk in shower and full kitchen.

If I had to pick one thing it would be the balconies. They are nice but very close to your neighbors. If they are out you can see and hear everything. Not sure why they were designed this way.

It is a dog friendly hotel and people leave their dogs in the room by themselves and they bark the entire time. Woke up both mornings to dogs continuously barking. The second morning the dogs next door barked for 3 straight hours and were still barking when we left.

no soda machines stayed beginning of November 2022 someone was shutting room doors a lot , maybe construction set up very bothersome at 5:30 am

Every day we had ri ask for wash clothes or towels. They were not left in the room. The room did not get cleaned after the first night. They just put bath towels in the room. Bed was left unmade. Kitchen counter was not cleaned. Tub was not cleaned. No wash clothes left. The inside bar had no blender. I had to go outside to the bar by the pool for a drink. They said the blender broke the other day. When I booked, I was told you had your own private beach. No Beach??? Disappointed.

King size bed with pull out sofa if needed. the 2 TV's are nice but the one in the sofa area didn't work, but it was fine without it. Very easy & quick check in. Breakfast also well done. Better yet, we didn't smell anyone smoking pot on the premises, which seems to be normal these days.

We noticed a good number of people with pets. I am assuming they are only allowed in certain rooms??? we didn't smell any pet odors but I'm sure there are many people with Pet allergies that could be affected if staying in a room that had pets, especially the people that sleep with them in the beds!!!

Location was perfect. We drove from New York and it was right on the corner of the midtown 90 bridge with ample parking on site. The room was fantastic, very big and spacious, balcony looking out over the bay was superb. Facilities were perfect, ideal for our 3 night stay, we could have easily stayed longer if time allowed. The bus goes up and down the city and you can ride unlimited times all day for $4, 10 min walk to the nearest stop. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby for food or an Orange Crush :D

Could not fault anything other than it was a bit on the expensive side but given it was peak season when we stayed most hotels were around the same price.

The view was amazing. And the kitchenette in the room was accommodating.

Everytime we called the front desk they said someone is coming - no one came. We went to the pool up and there was no towels. Called front desk prior going in to let the property know that there was no towels. An hour and a half later no one came. My kids were freezing cold. Again last night we asked for extra garbage bags and no one came. So disappointed.

Housekeeping was very nice and welcoming. We had to get the beds changed because there was hair on the beds and pillows.

I don't believe the room was cleaned properly because when I checked on different areas of the bed and pillow. After the beds were changed and I went to the bathroom to wash my hand I noticed alot of hair around the sink and then on toilet seat and behind the top of toilet lid.
