Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Metairie (New Orleans), LA

From the moment of check in to our departure, everyone was kind, friendly and professional. Don't be fooled by how the hotel looks on the outside, it is nice on the inside. The courtyard area is kept spectacularly clean, rooms are kept clean, and parking area is safe and well lit at night. The breakfast area is very inviting and offers a variety of foods that anyone would enjoy. Biscuits tasted freshly made! The location of this hotel in reference to the quarter is great! We were there for Mardi Gras and the hotel was quiet believe it or night. Will be coming back to this place again. I'd love to stay for Mardi Gras in 2024 but it seems rooms are already booked up.

Rooms are a bit tight with two beds in them. If we hadn't traveled with our daughter, the king size room would've been perfect.

Location was good. We loved the courtyard, and the fact that the rooms are all facing in the courtyard, therefore, you hear no traffic. Rooms are clean and nice size bathroom.

The only complaint I would have is that checkout is not until 12 o'clock but yet people were knocking on our doors at 8:30 or 9 o'clock to clean our room. When checkout is not until 12 I don't want someone coming and knocking on my door and or waking me up to clean the room already. There must have been somewhere between 6 to 8 women and carts if not more, all over the place that early in the morning. What are they out there for when checkout is not until 12 o'clock???

property was clean, the front desk associate I checked in with and who assisted me multiple times was great! the cookies were great lol…overall good experience and not a far distance from everything we wanted to experience.

multiple times I had to go to the front desk to get a new key, because they deactivated while out. rooms were nice just the handles on the bathroom and closet door in my room needed some care they were loose other than that property was good!

Amanda was great! Somehow my reservation was under my first name and when I called to confirm she was very patient and figured out the problem and when we arrived she was well aware who I was. We liked hotel so much we reserved a room for our return 3 days later =. We were in for wedding in New Orleans where a block of rooms was for wedding- Amanda handled it and all other staff were awesome also.

The fridge in room was so cold it froze anything we put in to keep cold- no way to adjust temp- key card took several attempts to enter room. only negative is location isn't close to restaurant selection

The room was very nice: beautifully renovated bathroom, comfortable bed, everything clean and well decorated except for a badly stained floor. Carpet replacement would easily solve that problem.The breakfasts were very good. Security and limited access to the place seemed a priority. Perhaps there had been theft or privacy problems in the past.

The exterior of the motel was filthy! Although there were very few people at the motel, there was no effort to pick up trash or clean the walkways for the three days we were there. Getting to the property was difficult, but once we became accustomed to the road pattern off I-10, we found no problems.

The location is close to the highway. We ubered to Bourbon Street for less than $20. Our bed was very comfortable. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. Too bad it closed at 9 pm . All the gates and doors are locked at all times. We felt very safe staying at this hotel. The breakfast was good but kinda cold. Overall, it was a good experience.

The parking lot is very small. If you arrive late to check in you might not find a spot.

This place was beautiful. The courtyard was pretty. The pool lit up at night was beautiful. I loved the relaxed atmosphere at property and close proximity to so many places. There are good restaurants in walking distance (Acme Seafood House I'm looking at you.) It was suggested by the front desk staff.

The pool hours were so short I wish they could have been a little longer.

I loved the area and how conveniently placed it was to restaurants, malls, and other shopping. It was close to the interstate and not far from downtown New Orleans.

The access to the hotel from the interstate is VERY DANGEROUS getting in and out! I didn't like the crack under the entrance door to the room, I could see lots of daylight. I didn't like the crack in the bathroom door (double doors), if there are others in your room they can easily see you in the bathroom if they come to that side of the room. They don't clean your room unless you reserve it, so they need to have larger trashcans outside so we can dispose of our own trash that pills up in the room. The sitting chair isn't comfortable, it almost flipped me out of it. The bed is super firm.

We just stayed here one night to be closer to the airport (15 min. from MSY) for an early morning flight. We were very impressed with the hotel! Room was very clean. Bathroom was very spacious. Comfortable beds. Delicious cookies offered at check-in. Welcome staff was very friendly. Parking lot was secured at night and I saw a security guard walking around the garden building where we were staying. NOT HOTEL RELATED AT ALL: If you're returning a rental car to the airport, be sure to allocate enough time for the 20 min. shuttle from the rental area to the main airport, as well as wait time for the shuttle to leave the rental area and possible long TSA check (in addition to the time it takes to drive to the airport). We missed our flight :-(

Nothing...it was fine. We were surprised to be in a separate garden-style building, but it was very pretty with a nice courtyard/pool and a key secured gate to get in the area.

Free breakfast, clean rooms, great service. The common areas were nice (they had a pool and a fire pit!).

They defiantly tried to keep the place nice and clean but things are getting a bit old (some rust etc). Walls are a bit thin and we had some key card issues. BUT the front desk was great about helping with the keys.
