Courtyard Shreveport-Bossier City/Louisiana Boardwalk

The bed was extremely comfortable. Room was clean. AC worked AMAZING. We set it on 63 and it got freaking COLD, ICE COLD. The river view we got was perfect bc you could see the bridge and casinos and river with nothing in the way. Staff is great, friendly, and actually complete requests in a very timely manner. Pool was clean and big with lots of seating around.

Tv seems to has signal issues, but when we called the front they set maintenance man up with in 5 minutes and he was more than happy to fix it. And the walls are thin. We could hear everyone word a group next to us was having. We called the front to have them to quiet down. It was all of 5 minutes when security knocked on their door and made it clear they needed to quiet down. I really don't have a true complaint.

I booked a room with a pool view. The pool was damaged and we didn’t know when we booked the room. We were looking forward to swimming in the pool. We were very disappointed. It should have listed on the website. There was a crack in the pool and were told it wouldn’t be repaired by the end of the year. We were offered to swim a nearby Marriott but that defeated the main reason we booked there. Bottom line it should have been listed on the the booking website. We would have booked another hotel had we known that information. We were booking a staycation for the long weekend and we’re looking forward to swimming . We we’re definitely mislead by booking.com

The property is in a great location. Everything was walking distance and we had a nice view.

The only thing I didn’t like is because they gave up our room. They said it was a first come first serve base. Even if you have reservations if someone comes before you without reservations they have the right to get them room first. So it was after 3 before we even checked in. That was very disappointing to me because I didn’t have any knowledge of that until I made it to the hotel. But in spite of that I still enjoyed my stay but I will have to think about staying again.

We've stayed at this hotel last year around my birthday time and it was nice this time we came for our honeymoon. Brittney was very polite and helpful. Her customer service was amazing.

The air conditioner was horrible. It would come on for a few minutes and stay off for a long time so it would make the room get hot very fast and one thing me and my wife don't like is trying to sleep in an uncomfortable room. We were so uncomfortable that we checkout two hours before time. Other than that, all was well.

The room setup is nice and offered all the necessary amenities. The bed is comfortable. The A/C and heat work really well. The Bistro was good, tasty, fast, and friendly. The majority of the staff was friendly.

The elevator needs addressed. Straining noise is a concern and the sign on the second floor is illegible. The shower was not completely clean, orange soap residue was built up on the shelf.

Convenience to restaurant and shopping. Disappointed some of my favorite shops had gone out of business. Would have like complimentary breakfast be but be we were aware. Was near all our interest and interstate.

Tub felt as if the bottom was slightly curved and slippery. Needed something for traction on the bottom while taking shower. Daughter almost slipped twice and I felt unsafe as well. Next time will ask for walk-in shower.

It’s right on the boardwalk so we didn’t have to drive anywhere. It’s one of the few facilities that has a swimming pool opened. And it was the cheapest out of all the stays we tried to make in that area.

The hot tub wasn’t working next to the pool. The pull out couch is not big, will only sleep one person. The staff (front desk) do talk rude about customers out loud and laugh where people can hear them. Some of the rooms had damage to them and were blocked off and look like crime scenes. The elevator sounds like it’s about to break at any minute and it takes forever for the doors to open

Location

Parking was horrible. Afraid to leave at night cause you would loose parking spot. Needs to be wrecker on site all time to haul people cars that don’t stay at hotel. People using parking lot to go to boardwalk

I mostly like everything

I didn’t like it when I tried to book this weekend on booking.com and the price was 100 cheaper and the staff could of cleaned the restroom floor a little better and wiped off the appliances.

Location is great!

When we arrived, someone was watching Tv in the room and slide out the French door. The room smelled like sweat, and the TV was still on and the patio door wasn’t completely closed.
