Hyatt Place Bowling Green

We had three grandsons with us, and they each got hungry for cereal later at night. The staff went out of their way to get them their favorite cereal night after night with zero complaints! The greatest strength of this hotel was most definitely the staff because the pictures were misleading. For example, the pool looked much larger online, as did the room. There was a little black mold in the bathrooms, but what can you expect when there is no fan/vent in the bathroom. Otherwise, for the value, it was a great place to stay. Their maintenance man was friendly and helpful too. The front desk staff were exceptional!

Friendly check-in from a young guy with a long ponytail. Read the notes on the room and knew to confirm I’d changed room needs and asked if I had the cat with me I’d mentioned in a message the day before. Fast and friendly. Room was beautiful and bed was comfortable. Had 5 pillows!

The clock radio was the only USB port other than the back of the TV. No radio function worked, despite the instructions. I had to plug my phone into the rear of the TV AND have the TV on to charge my cell phone. The USB in the alarm clock didn’t work. I unplugged it and it STILL woke me. Many DC outlets, but plese join the 21st century and have lamps with USB ports in their base on each side of the bed.

My husband thought breakfast was wonderful and I too feel it was very good. Also, had a wonderful staff! We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and my husband forgot his razor and a clerk helped him out! She was so kind and also helped him get ice for his cooler. We liked her so much we gave her flowers from the wedding!!!

It wasn’t very clean in our room. I saw a bug crawling on bathroom tile floor and air unit would not turn off it ran all night.

expecting a standard King room with standard amenities we were surprised to be placed in a beautiful King Suite with much more than standard. Beautiful foyer, living room, dining area , Kitchen, and oversized bedroom with large bath. We’re 76 yrs old and have stayed in many hotels over the years but NONE as nice as this. The staff was superb and provided us with exceptional courtesy and friendliness. Returning late one evening after a wedding rehearsal dinner, I asked for a carton of milk before retiring and was granted 2 large glasses of cold milk poured fresh from the kitchen supply. Anyone would be so blessed and thankful to have stayed at this hotel. Best experience ever.

Not one thing

This is my second time staying here driving home from Florida and I really like it. It is quiet, clean and comfortable and because it is a college town, there are a lot of eating options. Also love the Casting option for the TV! I was able to catch up on my shows from home!

I really like this place and the only thing I'll say here is that there is no tub. It wouldn't be a big deal but I have a condition where I have to sit to take a shower. Luckily I had my shower chair!

I try to make a reservation here,when visiting Bowling Green. Stayed here on numerous occasions, and somehow I always am allocated Room 435, King Bed, with full, suite facilities. Only stayed one night Sat May 28. The Staff Team are so welcoming, hotel was somewhat,quiet than usual, Had me my usual Double Bourbon, prior to bed time. Morn breakfast was upto the usual fine standard of a Hyatt Hotel. Had to leave early having checked out.There is also very good parking provided and its a covered parking area adjacent to the rear.

Nothing negative to state here.Its a great Hotel. They treat ya well too, especially if you are a regular guest.

The room was a great size for my family of 5.

The breakfast was the same thing for 7 days with little variation. It was not kid friendly. They should have had pancakes/waffles as an option every day at least and better cereal to choose from. The (AT&T) internet connection was very poor even when connected to the Wi-Fi. We had bad service in the room, by the pool, and in the garage. The Chromecast was also difficult to setup and use even after hotel staff helped set it up.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall we were very pleased with the large room and the property. The neighborhood was pretty and quiet, and we felt safe there.

Our mattress had a low spot in the middle but it wasn’t a big issue. Next time I would ask for a room away from the elevators; as other guests were very loud waiting for a long time for the one working elevator at the time.

Location was great! We were there to see our son play for the HotRods and it was right there.

Rooms could have been a bit more cleaner. Under the couch needs to be cleaned, dusting and bathroom needs to have better attention. Also they said the pool was ok to swim but it was cloudy and green. Couldn’t let our 8 year old swim every if they said it was ok.

I did not like the tv set-up. My husband and I are in our mid-sixties and chose not to use our phones to scan anything. We were disappointed that we could not simply turn on the tv and hear the morning news! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but for $200+ per night, we will next time choose a place that accommodates folks who just want the basics.
