Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Fairgrounds

The location of the hotel was across the street from where we needed to be. It was nice having a hot tub and heated pool to relax in for the evenings.

The breakfast was not good. The biscuits and grits (if that's what it was) was reheated by the worker in the microwave. Hoping there would have been some scrambled eggs and maybe bacon or sausage. There was no milk, yogurt,or butter. Not much to choose from. Some of the hotel doors to the rooms do not reach the ground so while you are sleeping you have the hallway light coming through. Rooms smelled a bit musty. Hallways and elevator need a very good cleaning. (carpet washing)

It was over booked so they had to clean out a room for us but Chandra was the best then the next day they changed my room so when I loaded all our stuff headed to the room I opened the door and the room had not been cleaned yet so I waited outside but since I am handicapped because of swelling in left leg I had to return to the dirty room and wait for my husband we went to lunch returned to the now cleaned room and noticed it did not have air it only had 2 fans so again our room was moved it was clean but it had plumbing issues. So overall I would have left 10 minutes after I got there if it was not for Chandra

The staff was great. Price was great. I most definitely would stay again. I would give it a full 10 beside the one problem. We got in early because our event started at 2:00 and they let us check in early.

Everything was perfect staff, price, location but didn’t notice till morning (because just dropped bags off quick and when we got back to room went straight to bed) guessing the people who stayed in the room before us must of threw up, there was a smell by the sink.

Staff was universally helpful, but John (evening front desk clerk) was awesome from the start of our stay until the end. Location was fantastic as it was right across from the Fairgrounds where we were attending an event.

Wish there could have been gluten-free items at breakfast as one of our party has celiac's and there was very limited choice.

room was clean and comfortable. The price was definitely right. free hot breakfast was a plus.

My room key didn’t open the door to the pool/hot tub area. Fortunately the maintenance man who happen to be passing by when I was trying to get in, was able to let be in.

The breakfast had a good variety of choices. The location was perfect for the event we attended.

I did not sleep well either night during our stay. Usually when I stay in a hotel, if I don't sleep well the 1st night, I can usually get a decent amount of sleep the 2nd. I couldn't do that in this bed. It would have been nice to have even a small sitting area outside.

That we didnt get enough towels and when we asked they said they would bring some and never did. Had to go buy towels

Good location, clean room.

There was a single roach on my door but no other signs of any infestations after a thorough search of the room (Iused to be a licensedpest control agent). They offered me a discount and I'm sure they would have offered me a new room had I really wanted it. Probably came in from someone else.

the entire city was booked with no availability in any hotel and we tried to make a last minute reservation. due to a fluke in their computer system I was allowed to make reservation but when I arrived there wasn't any....the lady at the desk dug into whatever they do and was able to get us into a room....

figure out how to keep 2rd party booking sites from over booking

The location was great and breakfast was good!

The noise level being on the side where traffic runs sucks. We live in small town, so couldn't sleep because of traffic noise. Next time I will request to be on side of building away from street.
