When we arrived, there were 3 big dogs in the reception area. I asked for a no dog room and was informed that their policies have changed at home 2 suites. There are no longer no-dog rooms! Even with allergies, you best hope the room has been shampooed! I actually run a dog kennel at home, but never have I smelled dog feces inside my kennels! I keep them tiptop and even the puppies go out on their patios to go to the bathroom. I nicely asked the clerk to please come and smell our room. I then asked another worker after she refused. Yes, they ended up upgrading us to another room but it was not worth that hour of my time! Also, be reedy at breakfast for dogs within 5 ft of the food! Never again at home 2 suites! Hilton willl lose their good name very soon with this policy!

Went down to Iowa City for a few days. Just a different area.for getaway..walked into hotel. Very vibrant. Cleaned. Service was very prompt. Had very good manners .polite. Got into room. so inviting. Clean .everything you would like. Fromm bed couch kitchen. Nice walk in shower. Fantastic place. Breakfast line up from waffles to oatmeal. Plenty to chose from. Coffee well stocked from different sugars and creamer. Thanks for making us feel at home. Plenty of parking too.

I would like to say more places to sit for breakfast. They had more than half the breakfast area used up for some meetings. Training..could of been a better time for that

one staff member max was rude when ask for a mop to clean up spilled pop upon our arrival! he did not seem to want to be accommodating to help. he reluctantly did help in the end? but he had rather poor customer service.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was easy to get to off the interstate. There were many stores and places to eat in a close proximity.

The room did not appear as clean as one would have hoped for. It was clear that the courtesy toiletries - bar soap, lotion and such - were used and not going to last us through our stay. I did call down for kleenex and staff did an excellend job accomodating.

Great location, large room, easy parking, very reasonable pet fee and very kind staff!

Room rates will surge during university of Iowa events. That makes sense but it will make it challenging if I choose this hotel for my future business trips as well. It comes in and out of budget frequently.

First impression - everything is sparkling clean! The lobby is open, bright & cheerful! We had a 2 queen bed room which was very big. Full size fridge, sink, microwave, dishwasher, dishes. Beds were super comfy! Great location to the highway and any store or restaurant you would need. Everything was perfect & we will definitely stay again.

The location was perfect for my stay. Close to restaurants, shopping, and those I was visiting. Spacious room with great amenities. The kitchenette with full refrigerator, coffee, dishes, silverware and sink made it very convenient and homey.

The facility was amazing, comfortable and clean.

When checking in the person at the counter seemed more interested in getting me checked in as fast as possible and didn't give any of the usual information about check out times or when the breakfast was open and closed.

I liked the room. Nice and roomy. The free breakfast. The staff was super friendly super laid back. Beautiful hotel.

Well it wasn't their fault. It was just a crowded weekend due to a sports event, so it was really busy and the pool js tiny and there was not alot of room to swim with so many people.
