Baymont by Wyndham Indianapolis

The hot tub was actually hot.

You advertised breakfast on the website but you had a sign posted that the dining area was closed due to Covid. You shouldn’t advertise breakfast if you’re not providing it. That was one reason that I booked this hotel

Breakfast was real good. Good variety of stuff. Eggs sausage toast biscuits and gravy. Waffles you could make. Cereal muffins. Room was decent. Kinda out dated but was clean so that’s important. Pool was nice. the second night was very crowded. They don’t open the pool til later in the afternoon so can’t swim in the mornings before check out like uou can at most motels. Gas station and several restaurants real close. Burger King McDonald’s Taco Bell subway. I’m sure there was more but that was in eyes view from the motel.

Facility is clean and well taken care of beds are comfortable , carpet looks newer, fridge and microwave work as they should. Room has somewhere around 300 TV channels that I'm sure is nice if you watch TV. All I needed was 10 minutes of the next days weather, took me 10 minutes to find the weather, lol. Breakfast is cooked, eggs, sausage links, biscuits, gravey, waffle maker and tons of cold items as well.

Pool/spa area is posted as an adult only area after 10pm but there was kids in there up till 11pm. We were hoping for a little more quiet time. The motel was noisy, a ton of foot traffic, jumping above us all night. The next morning the breakfast room was full of dance teams and dance moms. Not the motels fault and we knew why it was so loud above us after that. Maybe the addition of 1 more waffle maker in the breakfast room would be my suggestion as there was a constant line and wait.

Almost everything was good

1) ice machine on lower level didn’t work, had to travel to floor 3 to get ice 2) the breakfast bags had items (juice/fruit cup) that needed to be cold and yet they were warm/hot . *You’re already serving a minimum breakfast due to Covid, why not try to make it as enjoyable as possible? Especially when you’re charging full room rates as if you’re serving a full breakfast or hot /cooked items. Can’t even get extra juice/milk if you want. Atleast discount the rooms for the inconvenience.

The hotel is easily accessible by car, just off the highway. It offers a pretty standard breakfast. The breakfast area is not very large, but it works ok. The place is clean, the rooms are big enough. There is a fridge you can use, which is always useful.

This is simply a typical inexpensive hotel. There's really nothing I did not like, other than the fact that we were located near the elevator and people who leave or arrive in the middle of the night can be very inconsiderate of the other guests. But that is not the hotel's fault.

Our room was very clean and comfortable including the bed, sheets. I loved the pool ! The pool location and setting was beautiful! Check in was easy and breakfast had plenty of room and plenty of options!!

Only two things that could have been improved upon. First of all, why is there only caffeinated tea bags in the bedroom (where sleep is supposed to occur) and in the breakfast room (wake up!), ONLY DE-caffeinated??? Second, the key lock for the side parking lot door did not work at all! The back hall door was propped open with a rock which is a security risk!

I loved the bed as my partner and I was to sleep and relax comfortably. I believe that the staff was kind and attentive in serving us well. Another thing was the hotel was quiet. For me, the only noise you could hear was when people would go through the hallways having conversations (which was expected) and obviously this happened occasionally. My partner loved the room felt wonderful.

The only that I wish was improved was the toilet. I do not know the circumstances with the room that I have received and the hotel's situation with maintaining the bathrooms. However, when my partner and I arrived, we used the bathroom after a long trip. The toilet was unable to flush properly and was already clogged when we arrived. We decided to use the restroom that was near the front desk to avoid overflow. We still had a wonderful time and love the hotel, we just hope the staff fixes the toilet for the next lovely guests!

Location was perfect for traveling into the city for an event. There are plenty of food options in the area. The registration staff was friendly and observant.

We were there for two nights. Both mornings, the maid woke us up before 9am for service. There was no Do Not Disturb sign to put out. It looked like nobody had one. We had an 8 hour drive to get there and we were exhausted. I have never had this happen at any hotel. She didn't even come back later. She did the same on check out morning. Why?

The king/jacuzzi suite was amazing!!!

The guy that checked me in set my driver's license off to the side and didn't give it back to me when I was done checking in. He did give my debit card back to me. I thought it was odd, but forgot to ask for my DL back. On the way to a restaurant, I remembered that I didn't think I'd been given it back and called the front desk and the guy said he was just about to put it under the door to my room. I have this nagging suspicion that someone is going to try to steal my identity soon! :( On another note, when I checked out, I had to wait about 15 minutes for the front desk person to arrive.

Room was better than expected. Hot tub was clean and comfortable. Bed was nice and comfy and the room was nice and cold . Mirror by the hot tub was and the shower was nice and hot just the room was overall great.

Hallway by the pool had a urine smell come into the room. I don’t know is some one had an accident outside my room or if it was coming from the pool area. It was a bunch of teenagers running around.
