Very convenient location to downtown. Had our own entrance & parking spot. Very clean and loved that there was a full kitchen. Cozy fireplace & lots of space. Very nice & attentive host.

Really loved the suite, but the bathroom was a little cold this cool spring. Heater helped. Limited counter space to get ready & set your cosmetics bag. Maybe a small table in front of the second mirror would be helpful (where the hairdryer is)

The room was very cozy. Very close to the shops in the downtown area. When we first arrived the room was at 92 degrees, which was very warm. I reached out to our host and she immediately got a hold of the maintenance guy. He showed up about 5 minutes later and fixed the A/C. Very nice and handled the situation perfectly. He suggested a few restaurants to try and they were very good. Everything else was great no other problems.

The bed was very high. Good thing they had a step next to it for myself to get in and out of. My husband who is 6'1 even had some difficulties on his side.

disappointed that there was no breakfast.

road construction in front of the property. had I known that the road was severely under construction in front of the unit I would have stayed somewhere else. the roadwork made it difficult to get in and out of the unit and in and out of town. big mess ! They were pouring concrete this morning and the concrete truck was in front of my car and I had to wait until they were finished before I could leave this morning to find somewhere for breakfast.

The building is on a main street so getting in and out could be difficult during the day but it was fine during evening hours. There wasn't anything about the stay itself I could complain about.

The building was super close to Main St. I'm talking 2 minute drive close. The room was a great size, very clean and the shutters were my favorite part. The door had a double lock so we felt super secure. The owner recommended a outlook to visit before we left and I. so happy we decided to go. It was beautiful and you could see all around, the hills and foliage included.

Neat history, clean facilities & good value.

It’s on a busier street and during our stay there was road construction, so it wasn’t as restful as we hoped but that can happen in a noisy hotel too.

The room was spacious and clean, the art was amazing, and it was secluded and quiet. it was a quick walk to the park and downtown which made exploring Galena nice and easy! The host communicated well, was accommodating, and helpful.

I do not have any complaints.

I love that this was a walk to Main Street and the Galena City Center. We walked there many times and explored the city. I do not think we finished exploring the city.

It was difficult to find the place at night, but with the porch light on, I can see it driving. I was the sidewalks were lit at night. Fortunately, parking is free in more places in the city center after 5pm.

(The breakfast was suspended due to COVID-19.) Sandy was nice and welcoming.

Coffee (loose coffee in a zip lock) in the room had nothing to measure the coffee with. Pre-packaged, pre-measured would be better. We ended up going out and picking up coffee to-go.

Very cozy and quaint. Liked that it's in walking distance to main street.

Construction was kind of a bummer and it is on a busy street. So there is some street noise throughout the night.

Loved the location and the charm of the room. Quiet even though on a busy road. Bed was amazingly comfortable and the walk up bathroom was charming. The sauna was an excellent touch.

No breakfast, but that was clearly stated multiple times so I wasn't upset.
