Hampton Inn & Suites Bridgeview Chicago, Il

We loved the view overlooking the airplanes when they are getting ready to land and when they were leaving the airport. I really enjoyed watching the snow when it was falling. The breakfast was really good. Over all our stay was lovely and the staff was very friendly.

I didn’t like using the side/back entrance by the guard station simply because you can get bird poop on you and if your luggage has wheels on it you will be rolling right in it. I would love for them to put a roof over the entrance way just to keep the birds from pooping on their guests and too also keep their guests from bringing the bird poop in the hotel. I would love to see a TV Guide in the room we couldn’t find any western channels.

It offered shuttle service to MDW airport. It was clean and looks like it was renovated so furniture and aesthetics looked modern and contemporary. The 24 hour coffee/tea stand in front of lobby elevator was convenient. Plenty of free parking. Free breakfast was also a plus.

The hotel is tricky to get to.

The staff was so helpful. The lady at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure I was able to receive and early check in. Her name was Ana I believe and she was just great.

The price.

We stayed because our flight to Detroit was delayed by weather. I made the hotel reservation on my phone while standing in line at the airport. We were stressed, arriving at the hotel late at night and with no luggage. The man at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, and he got us checked in smoothly.

The bed and pillows were perfect, room was super clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was really good and lots to choose from, and the location was not too far from anything we wanted to go to down town. There was even a restaurant at the other end of from the parking lot.

Wish the pool was bigger. There was a lot of children and the pool was small and no hot tub to relax in.

The continental breakfast was great having many options for the entire family. Kris greeted is every time we were in the lobby and helpful with getting our rooms close together. Pool was very nice Loved our shower

Nothing that I didn't like

I loved how new, contemporary and clean it was. Rooms were cleaned impeccably.

The free breakfast was so so…. Omelets, meats and potatoes were good but the waffle was in a plastic wrapper. Pastries looked like they were fresh from the freezer and can I get a banana? The area is not pretty but I could care less about that once I saw the place. Front desk check in took forever. Inconsistent info given about late checkout. None of this would keep me from coming back though :-)

The room layout was great, bed was comfortable and large, and plenty of extra seating and table space available. I also like the ability to control the tv through the app on your phone and the automatic blinds with blackout curtains were a nice touch. Lastly, the vicinity to the venue is unbeatable; just walk downstairs and a few steps to the venue entrance.

Nothing in particular, everything was good.

The room was comfortable and clean.

I think the soundproofing in the rooms could improve. We could hear the next room sightly talking and coughing.

The building was beautiful and grounds well kept! Breakfast was awesome! People at the front desk were very nice and helpful! Would definitely return!

No microwave in the rooms but didn't really bother me.
