Mountain Top Inn and Resort

Our room was bigger than expected, beds were very comfortable. Pool was awesome, and most of the grounds were nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The proximity to Callaway, Warm Springs and Pine Mountain was great. Loved the privacy 😁

Our air could have worked a little better, but not bad enough to complain, ( it was very hot outside) I don't love the barn door for the bathroom( although I understand it's a space saver, there is just not much privacy) there is no shelf or anywhere to store clean towels in the bathroom or anywhere to set anything in there. Some of the grounds needed a little attention, like mowing or weedeating.

The Inn room was air conditioned and the interior was wood like my mom and dad’s log home. It was extremely roomy and comfortable. The beds were soooo comfortable to sleep on. The location was perfect to visit Warm Springs GA and Pine Mountain GA. We were able to hike into The Cascade Falls. It was a 4.7 more than moderate hike in and out. We enjoyed 3 other falls while on the hike. Cascade falls was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back for another weekend visit when we are ready to tackle another hiking adventure.

An added ceiling fan in the room would be a good addition.

The lodge rooms were adequate until we could get a cabin, but a bit smaller than we were expecting. On day 2 a cabin opened up and the cabins themselves are really nice and comfortable. We had easy access to Warm Springs, Callaway, Pine Mountain, etc. There was a field where we could set up telescopes and stargaze and that was the best! The service is amazing and everyone really cared about our experience. Overall it was a relaxing place and they were very accommodating to moving us around a bit when a cabin opened up. Truly grateful for the experience!

The only improvements I can think of would be to add a dishwasher LOL. But seriously I can't think of anything to improve. It would be nice to turn the pavilion and other lights off at night by the office so the stargazing would be even better. But honestly this is an amazing place and very relaxing and nothing really needs to improve.

We loved the deck off of our room and the seating to look at the lovely view! Everything was very clean which was so nice! They worked with us due to a later arrival time, and they made sure that we had a room with a view after we requested this! We had a very nice stay!

We were informed via email that the pool was not going to be open due to a bad storm and a chemical imbalance, but until we called on our last evening, we had no idea that it had been re-opened. We did not have time to enjoy it at that point. If breakfast was available on site, we didn’t know that, and there were not many places nearby to find breakfast. We purchased cereal and food bars beforehand since our granddaughter was with us, and we were glad that we had taken breakfast food.

The view was beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful. Loved how caring the staff was. They were very attentive and anxious to help. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Loved the atmosphere.

The parking was absolutely horrible. There was very little parking on the property and I had to park further away from my room. There was also an event that made parking impossible to find. When it was stated that there was on site parking, I expected to actually be able to park with minimal difficulty.

location was good. Near FDR state park and not far from Callaway Gardens.

Description of property did say rustic and it was as expected. The bathroom needs a floor mat, floor is slippery because shower door does not close snug. The blind does not work with the cords. When we checked in we did receive pool hours, but we had to return to front desk to get wrist bands. Not sure why the wrist bands were not given at time of check in.

Didn't get to eat at the resort but there was an amazing little place called Eddie Mae's that was so good and Iron Horse was out of this world amazing!!! King lodge room was nice. The jacuzzi tub was heart shaped, that was cute and everything was clean. The room was cozy and comfy, the women at the front desk were very nice. That's always a plus when you feel like your friends with the staff after one conversation. Didn't get to enjoy much because of the rain and short time there but beautiful scenery, deer, small town.

I got dizzy driving up and down the mountain. That stunk. Felt like a rollercoaster lol the lighting in the room could have been a little brighter. Was more of a romantic setting the whole time. As well as curtain on the windows, one on the door but not the windows. Other than that, perfect.

we stayed at the Lodge and had a good experience. The room was not as big as I thought but it was perfect. loved the wooden walls. Bathroom was clean and the room had a tv, microwave and fridge. Added bonus was the coat rack with hangers! We were doubled charge in error for our room but the staff was magnificent and got it cleared up right away.

The room smelt a little damp but that is too be expected from a cabin/lodge. The bathroom towels on the other hand were clean but smelt awful. Smelt like the hot a little sour because they were left in the washer too long. Had 1 bug in the room but that is to be expected.

I loved the spacious covered pavilion that gave you a view of the mountain top. The pool area was great although the weather was kinda cool so we didn’t get a chance to use it. Staff was very friendly. I loved the easy online check-in process as well.

The inn rooms are kinda small for 2 ppl in areas 1-10. We was told by a visitor that inns located behind 11-20 was bigger. Which the next following day we saw for ourselves and they are. Wish they served complimentary breakfast.

The room was great and all was good the only problem was water pressure is poor and they need more than one bar of travel soap in the bathroom. Other than that the room was fanrastic

What I did not like is if you are disabled you have to let them know because if you are staying up near the office they say there is parking on the lower levels there is but only for one car so please let them know you are disabled so they can get you a room rhere you can park
