Microtel Inn & Suites Columbus North

It was very clean, comfortable, modern. The rooms were perfect- beds and pillows amazing! Shariyah Stevens, hostess, was wonderful! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and take care of every need. Example: our tv didn’t work properly. I called, she was at our door in less than 2 minutes, fixed the problem in a minute! And she never stopped smiling the entire time we were there. Awesome!!!

It smelled really good when I walked in the front door to check in the lady at check in was very nice. Its was comfy and very clean in the room.

My baby accidentally grabbed the phone and pushed an emergency button which the guy from front desk came down to room to make sure everything was ok. Which was great but what i didn't like was he said he would charge me if the police came. I have never heard of police dept charging ppl if they need help. Now I know we didn't need help but it was truly an accident. We had just got in from a ball tournament it was 12:30 in morning and she grabbed the phone while I was in bathroom. Stuff happens but the guy at the front was not understanding at all. Pancake machine wasn't working they didn't have the mix for it.

The area and the cleanliness was good. The women staff both day and night were above amazing. The white lady over night on Thursday who gave me her Sonny’s menu and then the black lady with dreads I think if it wasn’t dreads it was short coils who was on point about very thing. They are def keepers!

Breakfast was a show. Not a good breakfast at all. Pancakes doesn’t make it good. What about eggs and a meat. We pay enough for the rooms to at least get 1 great healthy meal. Danishes n fruit isn’t for everyone! A variety is the only thing lacking in my opinion.

Staff was friendly. We brought our two fur babies and they were welcomed too. Breakfast was decent. They offered cereal, pancakes, muffins, sausage and egg biscuits to warm in microwave with juice, milk, and coffee. Beds were firm but comfy. Room was clean with a microwave and mini fridge. Security for guests was nice because there is a small window with a call button at front entrance but locked door to lobby so noone gets in without motel key.

Extra fee per night per pet depending on weight. Room seemed a bit small.

I’ve been here before in the past but they have updated since I have been there and it was very pleasant. The breakfast was awesome. Staff was friendly. I didn’t like that I had to put $100 safety deposit but I get it. We paid cash and got it back at checkout. Overall the location, staff, and facility made it a great stay.

For 100 a night this hotel was amazing. The rooms are a little small but functional, it has proper cable TV and it is set in a couldersack, however, you need to ask for a room facing not facing the highway which sits on the rear of the property.

Because the rooms and especially the bathroom is a little small, they installed shelves in the bathroom near the shower - they are just the right height that you hit your head whenever you lean down and move up.

it was extreme clean facility. Every night someone is cleaning as well as the morning. Also, I like the location. I was traveling to army base every morning. It was pretty close to the base (20 min drive) and really safe location. so quiet.

my bathroom was for someone disable. i am not sure was it all the rooms, I would prefer that room for someone who really may need. but It wasn’t a big concern or dislike for me

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice location and clean comfy rooms. No hot breakfast for those that like to know. We didn't mind though. We didn't get breakfast.

Not all rooms have fridge and microwave so had to pay extra for one since they were needed for our length of stay. Stay was a bit noisy. Floors and walls a bit thin. Heard a lot of kids running around late in the evening above us. Could hear the guests next to us constantly arguing and baby always crying. That amount of noise makes it a little hard to relax and sleep. But we managed. Overall stay was great!

Bed was super comfortable. Room was really clean staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the farmhouse type theme in breakfast area.

Did not like the new remodel. I felt like I was in a kindergarten class room. Too hot and no air circulation in breakfast area. I was not aware it was under remodeling or I may have stayed elsewhere.
