Sleep Inn & Suites Columbus State University Area

The property is older, but renovations are underway to update the rooms. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was decent. It was a little further out than i needed to be for the purpose of my trip, but there are plenty of restaurants and shopping within minutes of this location (driving). I would not be opposed to staying here again.

Breakfast could have been better. The pocket door to the bathroom was a challenge to maneuver... adding a handle to give you something to grab would help.

Location is great. Room was clean and bed comfy.

The lady at the front desk kept saying they couldn't find the reservation but I was showing her the confirmation number. She finally found it but stated because I booked through a 3rd party it would be a $100 refundable deposit. But the signs on the window shows its only a deposit when you're using a debit card. So please be aware if you book through booking or a 3rd party it will be a deposit.

We loved our stay! Staff was all very friendly! Came down for a baseball tournament for the little bro & unfortunately they didn’t get far so we were out. But we enjoyed the pool & relaxation of the room. Any grocery store & food wise you could think of was around. We drove 20 min to explore the river walk. We enjoyed ourselves & we plan on coming back!

The room air is Awesome. Staff guy that is normally there on the weekend, He is so Awesome and kind hearted and very spiritual.. I love him. He remembers m every time.

Once you enter the hallway, no air . It was very uncomfortable. The shower pressure could be a little more but otherwise its pleasant as always.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean. We had everything we needed and slept well. Breakfast was muffins in a bag which was ok. We were comfortable.

It was not the best area of town, but it wasn't bad either. It was clean and safe. Just an older part of town.

No carpet on the floor; I didn't like that. And frankly, I really think that people that don't have pets living in their homes, shouldn't have to be exposed to them in the hallways and elevators of an hotel. However, I do like pets, just not inside the same living space.

Breakfast was so-so. Desk staff was minimal, but cleaning staff very present and friendly! Room was very clean and quite comfortable.

The hallways could really use some new carpeting and wall treatments.

The staff was helpful and friendly. And the turndown service was exceptional also.

No breakfast was offered. I understand certain restrictions for covid-19 other hotels have made the switch to meet the COVID-19 requirements.

After staying at a sleep Inn in North Carolina the night before that was,a DUMP! I was concerned about the sleep Inn in Columbus, Ga. But the Sleep Inn in Columbus was VERY GOOD. I drive down from Virginia 3-4 times a year to visit my mother who lives in a assisted living. I fine this motei is close.
