Hotel Indigo - Columbus at Riverfront Place, an IHG Hotel

The property is superb with the absolute best rooms ever. If you get an opportunity to stay in one of the suites with the tub, overlooking the river, you will never want to leave. I am so proud Columbus finally has this quality hotel for visitors as well as natives to escape when needed. A+ property and everyone from the hotel manager, to the front door stay, to the valet staff are all so pleasant and make you feel so welcome. We had the best experience with the hotel/guest service manager, she was professional yet delightful, as well as the nice guy at the front desk. Also, my relatives stayed here when they came from South Carolina to my son’s graduation and my cousin left to pick up dinner. While she was gone the fire alarm went off and everyone had to evacuate, but my cousin’s husband is handicap and was suffering after several rounds of chemotherapy and walking with a walking chair and one of the nice housekeepers helped him down the steps. The didn’t get her name, but that speaks volumes to me.

Absolutely everything was a wonderful experience. I do look forward to more menu options at the rooftop restaurant, but the he items offered are unique and very good, Especially the LAVENDER MARGARITA or Martini, it was delicious.

Location was excellent, right next to river, watched kayakers, enjoyed the pool and restaurants all walkable. Brian at check in was awesome, we were early, our bags were held for us, and he contacted us when room was ready and bags were already brought to our room.

The hotel/rooms are beautiful, stylish and decorated very nicely; booked a room with 2 queen beds, however the bathroom is not functional for more than 2 people, as always not enough towel bars or hooks lol; wait your turn to get ready while someone else is showering, only full length mirror is in the bathroom; there was another mirror behind the Keurig machine and used that area to blow dry hair.

Comfortable, very nice staff, enjoyed the restaurant and 7th floor lounge. Places to walk, scenery.

I wish there had been complimentary morning coffee in the lobby. It doesn’t matter the stars or the ratings of a hotel, I will not drink from the coffee maker in the hotel room. While you think your customer base is is above certain behaviors, there may be a few who are not above corrupting the sanitary integrity of the room’s coffee machine, if you get my drift.

After check-in, we received a two $20 vouchers to Denim & Oak which was the on-site restaurant. My family and I had already planned on having dinner there to celebrate our grandmother’s birthday so to have the meals discounted was a plus. Our waitress was nice though she seemed to be the only person serving at the time. We enjoyed the fried oysters and chicken creole pasta. The room was beautiful and had great view of the rapids. It was fun to watch some of the rafters. Definitely would recommend this place to friends!

Location overlooking the river was great! Nice touches unique to the area. Rooftop bar and kitchen-very nice with great views.

A bit overpriced for what you get in this area, especially with no breakfast. Had noticed several minor issues: There was an obvious hole in top sheet near where your face would be. Hard to miss if housekeeping was at all observant or cared. They also put the king fitted sheet on sideways which made for a very poor fit that kept coming off and was continually bunched up. It is not a square! Top sheet cover was very wrinkled-needed ironing to look crisp and inviting like your competitors such as Hampton Inn. Need more training for housekeeping to be observant to the small stuff if you want excellent reviews. Didn’t try the breakfast or dinner, as it was pretty expensive, and several local friends indicated it wasn’t all that good.

We had a late 10pm check in but the staff made it the best ever. It was my bday so a complimentary bday cocktail at the rooftop bar was quite the best end of a busy day. Riverview room was clean and cozy. Breakfast by the river was divine . Food was fast and hot! Valet parking guys were the best. We had bikes secured to the truck. They parked it in a safe secure place. It was retrieved the next morning for our ride. Returned to parking for our ride and retrieved on our arrival back. Chatahoochee trail was amazing. The most scenic rails to trails ride yet.

Roof top bar was very crowded. A sign of a good place to be. Security was on site.

LOVED THE BREAKFAST AND ALL OF THE FOOD SERVED TO US. ENJOYED THE RIVERWALK. STAFF IS THE BEST I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. GREAT HOUSEKEEPING.

I'M NOT SURE YOU CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS BUT WHEN I MADE THE RESERVATIONS FOR THE SUITES, I DID NOT KNOW THAT THE SEATING AREA AND BED WERE IN THE SAME ROOM. MOST OF THE PLACES THAT I RESERVE THAT ARE SUITES HAVE THE BED IN A SEPARATE ROOM FROM THE SEATING OR LIVING ROOM AREA. WE MADE IT WORK; HOWEVER, IT JUST WAS NOT CLEAR THAT THERE WAS NOT A DEMARCATION BETWEEN THE SLEEPING AREA AND GATHERING AREA IN THE LITERATURE.

We went to eat a the rooftop and the waiter was rude and wouldn’t give us a menu said he didn’t open until a certain time and it was a few minutes till he opened and everyone else had a menu I think it was because we are older

The location of the hotel was very close to downtown which made walking to the local eateries fun and convenient. The front desk assistant, Ashle, was so helpful in educating about the hotel, downtown and recommendations for eateries. She's a welcoming gem as a first impression! The scenery from the hotel was breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting directly on the riverfront and enjoying the tranquility. As we arrived mid-day, we were able to secure street parking. The decor of the hotel is so inviting!! I wish they would tell me where to find the wool pebble rug that was in my room.

A couple of things - there is currently a big construction sight directly across from my window. Being a healthcare worker, on a little respite, I was looking forward to sleeping in!! This wasn't the fault of the hotel and with all growth comes a little growing pain. Columbus will benefit from a new big business! Congrats! The shower drain was slow which caused the basin to fill. This limited my shower time but the shower head and pressure was great for the few minutes that I was able to enjoy it.

Staff fabulous- especially Eunice at Eighteen 85. Love the pool, love the valet parking, love the view from the roof. Love the proximity to the river walk and to the Uptown area.

Our bathroom could have been cleaner on arrival. The coffee machine must have been pre- filled with water and flooded everywhere. Did not have enough coffee cups each day.
