Hampton Inn Ringgold-Ft. Oglethorpe

The location served us well because it was halfway to our destination. The restaurant next door was both tasty and handy. The breakfast was hot but a little spicy. I had not had peppers and onions in fried potatoes before so it was a new experience. The halls were quiet and the elevator was in excellent condition. The staff worked hard to give us a clean and organized room. We were impressed by the view. The bathroom was spotless and the towels were soft. Thanks for your kindness and friendliness.

We were disappointed that the pool was under repair so we couldn't relax with a swim. Getting our cardkey to work usually took 8 or 9 attempts to open doors. It might have been the humidity. We weren't given the password for the Wi-Fi but chose not to use our laptop given that it was late. There wasn't anyone there to ask questions at breakfast but other guests told us about the buffet. Overall. I wish we had gotten more services for the price we paid for one night.

We were able to go next door and swim in the pool next door since the one here wasn't able to be used. The breakfast was great! Definitely helped with our quick am routine.

There was an extra blanket up in the closet that didn't look changed out and was not folded. Just looked like it was thrown up in there. We never used it. The shower in the bathroom had leftover soap residue on the soap bar holder along with the side of the tub. Could tell it was wasn't cleaned completely. They could not keep coffee made. Everytime we tried to grab some coffee, they were empty. The only time we were able to get coffee was the am we left. We had a coffee machine in our room, just looked dirty. So we didn't use it.

The breakfasts were very good. The rooms were clean and spacious. There is a place across the street named Farm to Fork. The was was okay and has a full bar. Great atmosphere.

The bed was hard and the pillows way to soft. But that is my preference.

When I arrived for check in at the beginning of the night, after 15hours driving, I showed them my booking.com reservation, and they said there was nothing on their system. I was lucky that they had a room available for me and my family. And the final price I paid was even lower than what booking.com wanted to charge me.

Matress was too hard. The staff handeled the group that was staying at the hotel with great patience the group was very unruly it was irritating to the guest staying at the hotel.

Comfortable and clean, location, huge breakfast included, everything was fabulous!

The ONLY “bad” thing (and it wasn’t even bad) was that the shower cold/hot controls were reversed. For hot, I had to turn it to cold and it took a long time for the water to get hot.

It met my expectations for a place to stop for the night along the highway. The breakfast was good and hot. Staff were pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing I can think of was we needed a handicap toilet because of bad knees

Location was good, right off the interstate, the room was clean, breakfast good compared to other hotels this trip, nearby restaurant food was good, but entertainment loud.

The pillows were perfect! Bedding was soft and comfy. Very quiet. Slept well!

Ginger at the front desk was so sweet and friendly!
