La Quinta by Wyndham Kingsland/Kings Bay Naval B

It was a convenient location to stop over on our road-trip, granted we were only looking for a place to sleep the night. The pool and hot-tub was a real hit with the kiddos, and the in-room tv channel selection was quite good too. The breakfast selection was fairly limited, but served early enough for us to hit the road again in good time.

The little snack shop could have been better stocked (some wines and beer would be a good addition). And the eggs served for breakfast the next day were quite possibly the most over-cooked eggs we ever had. But these are really minor issues.

The beds was comfortable (but was smaller) The property had decent breakfast. (eggs, sausage, muffins, waffles,cereal) They have a pool and hot tub out doors open year along.

The bathtub didn’t drain quick, so when multiple people showered they was standing in everyone’s bath water (yuck) the room smelled and wasn’t the cleanest, however we did NOT see any bugs during our stay!! It was cleaner than the LaQuinta we was staying at in Orlando on major BLVD tho!! so that’s a plus the cleaning lady came in our room while we was gone and changed our trash, but she also took a $8 drink that was on the table as well while she was in there 😐

Awesome location, near a good variety of restaurants and stores, and just a short hop to the FL state line. The King Suite was super spacious. Comfy beds. Helpful staff. Breakfast was decent; both hot and cold selections. Kids loved the pool.

Both rooms had a musty, dank smell. We bought candles and air freshener to try and cover up, but the smell always won. Perhaps the time of year and preceding a tropical storm?

That was a really pleasant stay. We stayed here on our way to Miami, just for 1 night. It is close to the highway but really quiet. It has a nice small pool, gym, laundry room. Especially the laundry room was something we really needed- it cost 2 dollars for washing and another 2 for drying. There was a small shop next to the front desk with some snacks, instant macaroni, tide, drinks. Breakfast was included in the price of the room, it was tasty. Staff was very nice and helpful. I liked the fact that it was a pet friendly place- although we didn't take our dogs on the trip, it was nice to see all the dogs staying at the hotel. I think people with dogs were all on one floor. People without pets were on the diffrent floor. Coffee was available next to the dining room as well as in the room, there was a hazelnut syrup on the coffee station, which was nice. The room was spatious, quiet, with nice bathroom and a closet with an iron.

It is not eco-friendly - so if you want to cut down on using plastic, you won't be able to do this here: plastic cups, plates, cutlery, apples wrapped in plastic and so on.

The staff was delightful to talk with. Everyone was happy to help with any issues.

The toilet clogged repeatedly due to a lack of pressure. The shower head seemed gummed up, possibly with hard water deposits. Our cat found a gap in the box springs' side seam and climbed in to take a nap while we were trying to check out. There is a lamp and power strip on the table/desk, but neither had power.

Bed and pillows were comfy. Room was clean. Breakfast was OK. Many things were prepackaged, to use in the microwave. No prepared eggs or breakfast meat, but waffles were available. Front desk staff was very nice.

We booked the handicap accessible room and the lighting in the bathroom was dim. There were only overhead lights, none over the mirror. The shower was not a step in, just a tub with grab bars. The call button on the elevator on the 3rd floor was out of order. You could ride up. To overcome this you called the front desk and they would bring up the elevator for you to ride down. We decided to walk down and not bother staff.

The beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in, in a hotel/motel in quite awhile. They included a full breakfast and while the eggs were a bit overdone who can complain when you get a full breakfast, a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom for such a bargain!? The staff was also incredibly nice.

The eggs were a little overdone, otherwise I can't complain. It was a wonderful stay, especially for the price!

The hospitality for this hotel is amazing. The front desk staff, Ms. Grace was totally helpful and pleasant. She remembered my family visiting the property from a year ago. She greeted us with a huge smile. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and convenient.

I'm not sure if the knew, but the air condition in our room was loud.

The Front Desk Manager, Tyler was so accommodating to our family. Without us requesting, he made sure our group was in rooms next to each other. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The eggs on the Breakfast Buffet were not very appetizing. Scrambled eggs would have been a much better selection and just as easy to prepare.

Staff was amazing, quiet comfortable room. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Room, lobby halls, dining area were very clean.

Size of the breakfast area. Spoke with the lady at the front desk about how everything was extremely clean and updated and she made mention that they are updating a lot of the common area to include expansion of the dinning room.
