Blue Heron Inn

The breakfast was wonderful each morning. Fresh cookies all day long! We enjoyed the daily meet and greet to get to know the other guests; cheese, crackers, fruit, and drinks were a nice touch to the atmosphere. Hosts were extremely welcoming, some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The Blue Heron is located near so many restaurants and shops; walking distance!

I looked at other peoples ratings before booking. This place exceeded our expectations! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the BLUE HERON INN. It's a fully restored 1900's house with vintage furnishings. Every possible convenience has been thoughtfully provided by the owner's, David and Julie. They were fabulous hosts, informative, friendly and of service. Julie's homemade welcome cookies were delicious and we enjoyed a happy hour with good wine and a tasty charcuterie tray presentation. The morning breakfast was served on fine china and exquisitely presented. Service and food were a cut above other B&B's we've stayed in. Julie made fresh fruit with yogurt, egg frittata, sausages and homemade pumpkin bread, it was gourmet quality! We used their bicycles to tour the area. They also have a very nice secluded pool area. The bed was very comfy and the linens felt luxurious. The place was very clean and they wore masks the entire time due to Covid. We felt very safe going there. The neighborhood was safe for walking and the location is a quick walk to restaurants, shops and pubs. We plan to go back with friends.

Nothing, the weather was even nice!

This has got to be one of my favorite B&Bs of all time. The owners are lovely. The breakfasts are to die for and had them on the the beautiful porch with fine China everyday. You couldn’t get any better at a high end restaurant. The location was marvelous- could walk to everything but the beach which was just a few minutes away. The backyard pool is a sanctuary. Did I mention I loved it?!

David and Julie were so hospitable. It was clean and welcoming from beginning to end. Breakfast and happy hour were exceptional.

Breakfast was home cooked each morning and very well done. Healthy and inventive menus each day. The home is a beautiful historic house filled with period pieces and tastefully decorated. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the downtown restaurants, bars and antique shops.

We had such a great time! Julie and David are the most welcoming hosts in a beautiful place. The breakfast is extraordinary - every day different and oh so tasty! Sitting at the pool in the evening, sharing a glas of wine and some cheese, no wishes left… Thanks for a great stay!!!!

Exactly what we were looking for, relaxation. Withing walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Everything was excellent. We selected a room on the second floor, and it seemes to be a little warm. It is Florida, but evenings were warmer than usual.

We appreciated all of the genuine hospitality. The hosts are very experienced and follow through with their description of the Inn and the services they provide. Room was lovely, inviting and and very spacious with a very comfortable bed.

Antiques everywhere. Nice pool area Great food and owners very pleasant Rooms are lovely nice porches

Ran out of hot water each day .Tv is too small with limited Channels no handicapped accommodations

Breakfast at 8:30 am was great. Jacuzzi tub with jets in the Compass Rose room was really nice. Backyard pool area was secluded and serene.

Wifi was in and out so the Roku TV didn't work great. It didn't really matter to us but it might to some.
