Marriott Tampa Westshore

After an Airbnb nightmare, booking our stay last minute at this Marriot was the best decision. My mom and I were completely at peace with our spacious, clean room. It's exactly what you would expect from a top brand hotel, clean building, nice decor, nothing over the top but definitely a step up from staying in a motel or value hotel. We did hesitate how our stay would be because of a "gentleman's club" across the street, but there wasn't loud music or wandering people. Location wise, it's a great spot! I would stay here again!

Only dislike were the incredibly soft pillows. The pillows would completely go down to nothing when you lay down. Also the back door by the restaurant was always unlocked, for security reasons I hoped it was locked after midnight.

Location, friendly front desk agents, cleanliness of the lobby and room and Free parking.

No mini fridge or microwave in the room, which for a Bonvoy member, is something I'm not used to not seeing. Also I called the lobby inquiring about the wifi and was told as a bonvoy member, the wifi was free. I advised the rep that there wasn't an option to submit my membership credentials to receive the free wifi. The rep stated it would automatically be removed from my final bill, yet I was still charged the wifi ($12.95). Paying wasn't the issue, it was the principal of not receiving the benefit I was entitled to. Other than that it was a great experience overall.

The staff was fabulous ! very professional and went out of their way to help ., from the front desk , to the bar tender , the waitress, and three different people out by the pool asking if we needed anything . We loved the indoor/outdoor pool, the restaurant/bar, and the room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels , real glasses , and amenities in the shower ! Also, it was very quiet , and close to the airport where the shuttle was free and ran every half hour ! The lady that took us was super nice !

The location so near the airport was the main reason I picked the airport. I was pleasantly surprised by being offered water when checking in, the cleanliness of the hotel and room, and the modern updated appearance and ammenties.

Loud customers could be heard in this high rise hotel (Friday night) throughout the night in the hallways, all the way til 3am!

The pool and pool area is such a nice place to relax, so much seating and lounging available with varying amounts of sunlight, scenery, and seclusion. The lobby, restrooms, and first floor spaces are nicely wide and welcoming with just the right amount of confusion when you come out of the elevator.

From the outside, the building itself (walls/structure) looks like it could use a tad more upkeep or cleaning.

This was the second time I stayed here. the floor I was on this time showed more age and wear. I asked for a quiet room and still the traffic noise was loud. Also, NUMEROUS signs say quiet hours from 10pm-6am and there was a RUDE LOUD PARTY going in and out all night

To expensive!!!! Staff was nice, the facilities were clean. But, one egg, 2 pieces of toast and two sausage links.......22.00 ridiculous. Portions don't have to be large, go back to the old days when people could pick and choose a decent portion, without trying to make us obese. Think outside the box. More money for too much food, stupid.

the area felt dangerous. Would have felt safer at the airport Marriott. But, it had issues, no escalator, going up etc. People weren't as friendly as the property I stayed.

The staff we interacted with were awesome - Brittany, Isaiah, Brian, Freddy, Aleysha and Josh were at the front. We were upgraded once they found out we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. We had a delicious lunch one day and a tasty breakfast the next. Liliana, Hector and Jeff in the restaurant were fabulous. We had a spacious corner room with a patio. It was very comfortable. The pool was pretty special being able to swim from the inside to the outdoors. We took the hotel shuttle van to go back and forth to a restaurant for dinner the night of our celebration. Overall, our weekend stay was perfect!

Location to Raymond James Stadium. Ate lunch downstairs at resturant. Great food. Great drink menu at the bar. Staff at lobby very helpful and nice.

Door keys kept giving us problems. Staff said they are in the process of upgrading the doors.

The staff was very nice and understanding. I was coming from Jacksonville and I asked for an early check in so my wife and I could attend a wedding and we didn't want to be late. The staff was able to accommodate us without any inconvenience. Thanks a lot Marriott Tampa Westshore team, you're freaking awesome!!!
