The Suites at Fishermen's Village - 2 Bedroom Suites0

This was our second trip back. We enjoy going there as we can arrive by boat and they allow dogs. We love all the restaurants and live music. We spend most of our day on the water so we haven’t had the pleasure of shopping at the shops yet. Very clean condos.

The only problem we had with this trip was that someone was in our boat slip when we returned from fishing. The person was even using our lines. Luckily the slip next to us was open and we had extra lines on board. The marina fixed the problem after I called them. I think sometimes people pull up and use the empty slips to go to the restaurants. Perhaps better signage would help.

My wife and I have been there before. And we wanted to bring my wife's parents for a little. Getaway, they haven't been out of the house since copied. And this was just everything they. We had our kids there as well. And my sister-in-law, and it was just a wonderful get together for all of us.

For me, the bed was a little bit too firm, but everyone else except for my wife and mother-in-law slept pretty good. And even when my mother-in-law was too tired, she still slept pretty good, it's no big deal.

I have family that recently moved to Port Charlotte from NJ so I now have a need to travel there 3-4 times per year. That area and Punta Gorda is not known for its hotels. I prefer better accommodations. I found this property and knew I had to stay here with my wife & kids. I was thoroughly happy. The property & room were spotless. Katie at the front desk was very sweet, welcoming and accommodating. The decor was perfect, the room was spacious, it was spotless, the a/c worked great, the beds were so comfortable, the water pressure was great in the shower, the shower stalls were roomy. We took the 2 bedroom/2 bath with the view to the Marina. It was a spectacular view. The shops were clean and friendly. There was a great selection of places to eat. I loved “The Pier” restaurant. Overall it was a great experience. They even had a free golf cart service to shuttle you from the parking lot to your room & vice versa.

Honestly…everything! The purpose of our trip was to begin our search for buying a Florida vacation home. Our stay at The Suites at Fisherman Village highlighted how much Punta Gorda has to offer while providing us with an absolutely beautiful, comfortable, clean, and relaxing place to stay. Everything (and more!) that we needed was at our fingertips and every staff person we encountered was pleasant and eager to help. Having an array of shopping boutiques and delicious restaurants just a staircase down from our gorgeous suite was incredible. We booked a trip back (a longer one!) at the end of next month and bringing our children. We also invited the grandparents because we feel Punta Gorda and The Suites has much to offer for all ages.

Nothing at all to dislike about The Suites.

Absolutely fantastic location. I live in St Petersburg FL and thus staycation was like being in my own little world. Tropical but not cheesy. Private but with interesting things to do. Used the kitchen and ate at one of the restaurants. Shopped and found a few cute things. A place that has everything a resort should have and so small and private at the same time. I will definitely return!!

The property was excellent, comfortable and in the very best location!

We felt it would have been nice for the staff to warn us about the noise in rooms above the restaurants. We are older and aren’t staying out late, younger guests who party more probably wouldn’t care. Also it seemed the music was turned louder after 10.

It was a pleasant surprise to stay here . What very nice suites. 2 bedrooms, large living/kitchen area and balcony... The hotel front desk staff was very welcoming . The shops and restaurant were very convenient and made for an easy visit with family.

I can't think of much as it was really a nice place. It asks me to say more but I can't. It was really good.

The suites were beautiful. Really new and clean. very well located, It was above the shopping plaza, so we had immediate access to food and shopping

Only thing that I was not so sure about was the bathroom door which was farm door without a lock, so it was not very convenient when somebody was using the toilet as it was only one door for all the bathroom and no door for the toilet area. Besides that, everything was really good

We loved that we could eat & drink and head back to our room. The shops were nice. Staff were friendly. We loved the view of the harbor from our room.

The bed was a little soft for my taste. The seating for guest suites on the west side needs to marked off for suite guests only if that’s the rule. We went up to enjoy the sunset and we’re accosted by suite guests that the seats were only for people staying at The Suites. Explained we were guests and they let us use the seats. Better clarification on this would be helpful and make guests like us feel more comfortable and not like we did not belong.

Rooms modern and comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Great view. Great shops and restaurants in the Village.

Extra blankets or throws would be nice while sitting on sofa. Our room was above the tiki hut so a bit noisy at times. Closed at a reasonable hour though. The pool needs updating!
